  1. Fair play to Conway man - really is nothing better than seeing a local lad doing so well ?
  2. He certainly has improved his performances and concentration levels since Naismith has joined. I have been slightly critical of Kai since he has joined but I don’t think anyone can deny that his vocal presence/leadership has helped us and in particular Vyner.
  3. Call me old school but i like defenders who can first and foremost bloody defend. Bollox to the set pieces get the basics right for your position first!
  4. Are you bi-polar? You are a man of severe extremes.. good to see you appearing after a win though ??
  5. Great result another clean sheet will only help confidence aswell! Without wanting to sound negative but im really not convinced about Naismith. He makes me feel on edge whenever he is in possession.. Yes his set pieces are good but Christ his primary role in the team is to defend.
  6. **** me i really like Naismith but he seems to never be far away from an absolute clanger..
  7. Anyone having issues with the sound? Completely silent for me
  8. Another clean sheet would be ideal, get a feeling it may be 2 or 3 nill tonight ?
  9. It will certainly soften the blow I’m sure ?
  10. At least he is walking away with a few hundred grand then. No consolation i know..you just hope he has other business interests outside of football to fall back on property etc etc.
  11. Another very honest and blunt interview from Nige - love the bloke to be honest, finally a gaffer who just tells it how it is..! Just out of interest How long does Baker have left on his contract?
  12. Loved Cotts - an absolute legend in my eyes and will be remembered for years to come for that season he gave us.
  13. My thoughts exactly, disappointing obviously in the manner of the draw but a point away is never ever bad. Onwards and upwards.
  14. Dyche would be a good fit to be honest.
  15. Plus if the hefty salary of £1.5m per year is to be believed then no surprise he has left.. without doubt would be a massive increase on his wage at Sunderland I’d have thought.
  16. Correct - he was at Chelsea before us. Could be an argument for Reid but obviously he only became a striker much later on with his time with us.
  17. Because Britton is a local lad from Hanham who was working on a building site with his old man only a few years ago.. I genuinely think its more of the story and background of Britton that gets certain fans going more than the actual ability of the kid.
  18. I hear what you are saying and you make some valid points. You cannot argue that on a infrastructure level they have made some poor choices - the training ground needs updating by all accounts and Old trafford again could do with some modernization. Having been to Old trafford a few months back for a stadium tour i must admitt that Gary Neville’s comments that it is ‘crumbling to the ground’ is a slight over exaggeration. As i said some modernization is needed but im baffled as to why a complete new stadium is required. A re-build of the bobby charlton stand and then an update of the other stands would be enough.
