  1. 100%. I’ve said it so many times before but if Nige had the war chest dumb and dumber were allowed to spunk we would have experienced Prem football by now IMO.
  2. I’ve always found their hatred for us quite amusing more than anything. Our main rivals are the sags and Cardiff always have been and always will be, Plymouth are a complete irrelevance to me and 90% of our fans and i actually wouldn’t mind seeing them back in the a Championship to be fair.
  3. Atmosphere sounds very decent to be fair
  4. Indeed. Where s82 is positioned now is the ideal scenario for the club and the police. What needs to happen is a break away group of fans need to get together and try and start another singing section in Dolman block A.
  5. Think that is a tad harsh. His overall play has been decent and as has been said he is recovering from an illness. What i will say is his delivery from set pieces has been really poor. We shouldn’t have to be relying on a centre half in Naismith as the only player in the squad to be able to deliver a good set piece. It’s something Scott clearly needs to work on.. For a professional footballer to continually not beat the first man with corner kicks is criminal IMO.
  6. This would certainly improve the situation. Club don’t want it though. Too much hassle to police/steward it, much easier to stick our vocal fans away at the opposite end of the stadium.
  7. Was sat a few rows in front of him in E32, felt like it took an age for medical help to come and the officials on the pitch were oblivious to it all.. Stewards police and medical staff were far too late to respond IMO
  8. Class. Absolutely love him!
  9. With all due respect how anyone can say they thought Holden was the ‘right’ appointment really is a baffling one. As has been said on this thread he has reverted back to type as an assistant at Stoke and has applied and failed to get jobs at clubs much smaller than ours. He seemed a nice enough guy but he was another woeful appointment by the Lansdown family.
  10. I found the comments about clubs having ‘’loan managers’’ quite interesting, these loan managers are also looking to make a profit each year on their players. Nige was basically saying that most if not all Prem managers nowadays have no real say in who they can loan out. I’m sure if Nige could guarantee we would get another Tammy mark 2 then him and the board would try and make a deal happen but players like Tammy coming in on loan and scoring 20 plus goals are so few and fair between that it probably isn’t worth the financial risk..
  11. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CkJSTUMAUHa/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= For anyone thats on instagram this is worth a watch just for a laugh if anything!! Wonder how much the pikeys are charging for this ‘’hospitality’’ experience ?
  12. Could be a good appointment to be fair. They went down the tried and tested route with Wilder and that backfired so you can’t blame them for thinking outside the box a little..
  13. It is a worry. Even more so the fact that Pearson and Fleming were pretty formidable defenders in their day the defending was something i was quite looking forward to developing under their reign but in actual fact it has been the complete opposite. As you said an explanation from the man himself would be interesting but I suspect behind closed doors the real truth of the matter is the personnel Pearson has at his disposal just aren’t good enough. If financially he wasn’t so hampered and had the same £ as when LJ was in charge then i think Nige and his team would **** the vast majority of that back line out and get in fresh faces. I don’t think he is happy with many of them but unfortunately is lumbered due to our financial position. It’s a hard one but I don’t actually think another manager would get a tune out of our defensive unit to be honest, some of them are a lost cause at this level IMO.
  14. Proper. As controversial as it is i would actually love the Bristol derby again at this level.
  15. This debate seems to crop up every so often and i must admit it always makes me curious if other clubs have the same issues. How many away teams have we seen at Ashton gate Leeds united being a good example where literally every single one of their fans stands. Like i said not knocking the point posters above are making but its always interested me about other clubs who seem to have that unwritten rule of if its an away day you stand mentality.
  16. In fairness the ref gave us loads of decisions today.
  17. Indeed. 11th-16th is where we will will finish, we simply don’t have the depth or quality in the squad to compete any higher at this level irrespective of manager in my opinion.
