  1. Defensively we have reverted back to our usual ways and have been pretty toothless again up front. I think we just have to accept we are just a lower mid-table outfit at this level.
  2. I was just about to post the same! What a ? end
  3. Jay Dasilva’s delivery and final ball is absolutely **** almost every time
  4. Problem is there is no middle ground for the happy clappers of this club and never has been. You either blindly support every last bit of the club or if you don’t your not a true City fan in their eyes. It’s boring and predictable. As you said there has been PLENTY at this club to criticise over the years and people aren’t any less of a fan for pointing the faults out, quite the opposite actually. Anyway great win tonight, finally put the horrendous WBA away record to bed.
  5. I’ve also got the West brom broadcast on. Wondered who the co commentator was!
  6. We never get anything away at WBA. Would be shocked if tomorrow was any different.. would take a point right now ?
  7. My thoughts aswell. Pearson is an experienced manager at this level and obviously will have seen what the rest of us did in as much as Conway and Wells looked the perfect duo up top. They worked brilliantly together and it was no coincidence that we had our best spell this season with those two up top. My only thinking is that perhaps Semenyo and his representatives were made some promises by the club that when he is back fit that he will start games..I’m sure the club are almost resigned to the fact we will lose him next summer and think its best he plays (starts) as many games as possible so as to get him in the shop window and we get as much £ as we can for him next summer. I agree with the general consensus on here though that he is better as an impact sub coming on to attack tired legs. Personally would love to see Wells and Conway given another run but we shall see if that’s the route Pearson wants to go.

    Weimann

I’ve always like Weimann and you cannot fault the man’s commitment on the pitch but i think in many ways he could become a victim of his own success in regards to last season. Statistically last season was a freak season for Andi - whatever you look at it. He definitely needs a rest at the moment by the looks of it but people expecting another 20 goal’s from him this season are going to be disappointed IMO.
  9. Indeed. Wells and Conway looked excellent together over a number of games so it certainly wasn’t a fluke.
  10. Seems we have really lost our way since the back to back defeats against Norwich and Burnley. The worry for me that yes whilst it was great when we were scoring for fun earlier in the season, the defensive frailties have been there right from the first game and have been just a theme really ever since Pearson has come in. I like Pearson and what him to succeed as City manager but after almost 2 years in the job he has continually failed to improve our defensive capability’s.
  11. Interesting to hear nige’s thoughts on this one!
  12. Yup. The best keeper we have had at the club since we have been back at this level IMO.
  13. A win is a win, stop’s the slide. Onwards and upwards to another winnable game at home on Saturday.
