9 times out of 10 he is poor for us though, if last night was an isolated incident then it would be fair enough and we would all be happy to give him a free pass but it isn’t. It’s been going on for years ever since he has joined us, consistently ineffective. As i said on here last night he isn’t good enough for where we want to be as club and needs shipping out at the earliest opportunity.

Obviously Bakinson had a shocker, he can be great going forward but he is complete liability when asked to track back and defend - it will cost you points over a season as I’m Pearson is well aware. I’m most angry/annoyed at O’dowda though, chance after chance has been given to him and he has shown time and time again he is not good enough. Has to be shipped out at the soonest opportunity IMO.

He should have been shipped out with the rest of the deadwood in the summer. Not fit to wear the shirt IMO.

Bakinson has to be done after this surely? Get him away from the 1st team squad ASAP

On his day Palmer is without doubt good enough for the Premier League, unfortunately as we all know though it rarely seems to click for him.. If anyone is going to get the best out of him it will be Pearson IMO. Maybe with the right man management he could turn into the player we all know he is capable of becoming..?

That tackle in the first half was worth the admission fee alone! He looks a good prospect to me clearly not the finished article but the potential is clearly there.

You say ‘’not again’’ but something needs to be done. AG is like a library most home games, its painfully clear having the singing ‘’section’’ shoved in a corner does nothing for the atmosphere. Having singers spread across the back of the SS would be the ideal solution. The back 4 or 5 rows would be sufficient IMO. Okay some season ticket holders may have to be moved but if it is for the greater good of the overall atmosphere improving then so be it.

I still think that area needs to be expanded along the south stand, 3 blocks is nowhere near big enough for the demand IMO

True he did do a good job at Brighton but he wasn’t short of funds to spend. I have always had the feeling with Hughton that he needs a massive war chest of cash to be successful and that probably was his downfall when he was interviewed for the job here.

I have nothing against LJ. As others said it was only ever plainly obvious that the man was trying his best for our club and that is all you can ever ask from a manager or player. The combination of him and Ashton become toxic and it was poor inept stewardship from the Lansdown family to allow it to stagnate to the point that it did. I was and am still of the opinion that LJ and Ashton should have gone at the end of the 2018 season. It was clear to many that after that Wolves game it wasn’t working and fresh impetus was needed. The 17/18 season at times was a great season what with getting to the league cup semi final and beating Man U but we needed to be ruthless as a club.. ultimately the blame for me always will lay at the door of the owner - nobody can blame LJ for wanting to stay on at the club he clearly cares a lot about.
