  1. Absolutely typical! They're the best fans in the world until it rains.....
  2. Absolutely! Newcastle got 49k at home in the last round of the EFL Cup against a team in the same div - now that's loyal! "We're Roverzzzzzzz supporters, we're loyal and true....and we will follow the boys in blooooo...." Yeh right! And they laffed at our attendance at home to Blackburn...nearly 22k!!! #MindTheChasm....
  3. There's a clown on Gas Chat saying they didn't have poppies on their shirts versus Millwall because it 'probably cost too much' (he/she estimated it would be £50 a shirt to produce a new poppy kit) - the proverbial penny seems to have well and truly dropped, cos I thought they had a zillionnaire owner for whom £50 per shirt would be small change, have I missed something?!
  4. Well, as I said above, we lost to,Spurs when they were non league in 1903 but did anyone else realise the sags were also non league (again!) in that period??!!! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1902–03_Southern_Football_League
  5. We've only lost to one non league club in the FA Cup haven't we? But it was Tottenham Hotspur and they won the cup that year! And we usually put them in their place...e.g. 9-2 vs St Albans...
  6. Wishful thinking but I think the sags won that one 0-2...
  7. .....and while I'm at it...enjoy this one from 10:38 onwards....the 'famous' quarters humbled again! And to think they believe posting a vid of Windass' goal at Wembley winds us up!
  8. Never forget this....Yate has a bigger population than Chesham...
  9. ....and their gloriously funny defeats to Hitchin, Chesham etc!
  10. Did I really just read that Marcus Bignot is now Grimsby manager?!!!!!
  11. .....and as if to prove how thick they are, one clown on their forum thinks the graphic depicting "The city is yours, look at all the empty seats.." etc was actually designed by a City fan to mock them?! He actually posted he couldn't believe we were mocking their empty seats with a graphic clearly showing empty seats at Ashton Gate! Wot a plonker!
  12. Don't ya just hate it when they turn any criticism of their own fans into a dig at us?! On gaschat they are complaining that some of their fans booed their team before they equalised against Fleetwood, and posts quickly said stuff along the lines of 'that's what city fans do' and 'what I like about gasheads is that we never criticise our team unlike the sh*theads' etc etc etc.... Why does every discussion about their fans, club etc inevitably end in a dig at us and our supposed 'cr*p support' - which incidentally has long, long, long been at levels they can only dream about in their entire lifetimes...?! And they think we are obsessed...they just can't help themselves....
  13. That's about the only straw at which they can clutch! That's it! We are totally superior in every single other way you can think of!
  14. If we finish 10th I will be delighted...certainly won't feel that we've missed out. We can't do play offs anyway, we just can't!
  15. I remember Wimbledon getting promoted three times in four seasons back in the eighties and then finishing 6th in the top div in their first season up there, that was incredible...
  16. Is that all? After two successive promotions and free tickets given away?! Makes our 21k+ attendance vs Blackburn look pathetic...
  17. Nah, must be all them pesky Teds in the away end....
  18. Eh? Surely they can't be 0-1 down to Fleetwood in front of a bumper, boosted by free tickets, crowd?! #TickTock #We'reComingForYou Having said all that, they haven't yet had their standard opposition player sent off, dodgy penalty award yet...
  19. They laughed at our attendance vs Blackburn at home because of the '2 friends for a tenner each' offer.....well let's see how much their 'free tickets vs Fleetwood' offer bulges the crowd at the Mem. Just for comparison purposes and in the interests of balance, we got 21,452 vs Blackburn, I'm on tenterhooks waiting to see their crowd figure released tonight. After all, they laughed at our 'pathetic' crowd that day, what with the cheap tickets offer and all, so I fully expect them to completely sell out tonight, no excuses for anything other than that....
  20. Spot on....I'd have been seriously worried if we suddenly got a Jordanian Chelsea fan as a new owner who simply moved onto us because Gillingham weren't interested in his advances.... Couldn't believe the hysterical reaction of the sags when it was announced....they truly believed (for a while at least) that they were instantly on a par with clubs like Man City in terms of wealth and they truly believed they were top dogs in Bristol overnight.....how did that work out? New canopy over hospitality entrance vs new £50m stadium?! I am so grateful that we are in the safe, safe hands of the Lansdown family, a Bristolian family determined to give something really tangible back to the South Bristol community. A proper legacy...
  21. Well, to be fair, it seems most of us have enjoyed the extensive media coverage we've achieved surrounding Tammy's successful loan so far and the positive reports in the press regarding Mr Lansdown's vision and LJ's managerial style and abilities to date. So it's a bit churlish to condemn Rovers' owner for also trying to raise the profile of his club. I think he comes across as a pretty ok bloke, I don't for a minute believe he has the level of funds to pump into the sags which have been reported and of course I have no interest in his 'project' succeeding, but getting media coverage is fine, it will only serve to highlight how little 'real' progress they are making in the long term...
  22. What is 'corporate' about the word Bristol?! We've got Bristol City emblazoned on seats in our Atyeo Stand and the city name on the Dolman seats.....you've got to let this 'corporate' rubbish go flea....our stadium is first class, you can't knock it whilst you continue to play in your pathetic tented village...
  23. More trash - why on earth would we want you to get back up to our level more than your deluded fans do? Nearly 6,000 days above you...keep looking up....
  24. So, Wolves at home has to be designated 'Day 6k' - with appropriate activities to remind 'em. The deluded, clueless sags bleat about our attendances home and away, they bleat about our reputation amongst other teams' fans, they bleat about being the richest team in Bristol, they bleat about us being a 'plastic, franchise club', they bleat about 'tick tock' and 'we're coming for you', they bleat about our 'soulless' stadium, they bleat about our 'tax avoiding owner' when their holding company is registered in Jersey and they bleat about their 'unique' kit, their past 'hardships' and their 'massive' fan base. All of which is utter tripe - but one thing they cannot even begin to argue about is that we will have been superior to them for over 6,000 days - pretty much one day for each regular supporter they have...
