  1. Yep, if they secure back to back promotions then I'd have to say fair play, great achievement...as much as I've hated Dopey's antics over the last couple of years....but two consecutive promotions at any level is to be admired. Not that they've done it yet...
  2. So, how did your 'invasion of Notts Co' go?! A few hundred wasn't it?! When are you gonna 'invade' your home games and perhaps get a 5 figure crowd? Now, THIS is an invasion....
  3. You really need a cuddle mate...bless...
  4. Meanwhile...lest we forget...it's only Gas vs the Stags tomorrow!
  5. I know emotions run high after a defeat, but unless you know Warnock personally surely you can't justify abuse like that which needs so many asterisks??!!
  6. Lost count of the number of times I said way way back that Warnock would keep us up on a short term deal until the end of the season....ridiculed every time....Millers have now won last three including Wednesday away and Boro at home...
  7. Anyone got any evidence of the constant 'Lee is SL's puppet' accusations? Pretty tiresome now...
  8. Nice! I loved their hilarious attempt at a 'victim mentality' back in the late eighties and early nineties. "We have to train at a chocolate factory, we are ragbag Rovers...." etc etc etc.... And I am also afforded huge amusement by their belief that the whole country loves them and hates the 'massive' club in Bristol. I have NEVER heard a City fan describe us as massive, not even when we were in the top div stuffing Man U, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool etc. "We are awesome fans cos we support the underdog..." Rubbish! We plummeted to the basement after our brief sojourn at the top level....and we were the underdog then. But our support was superb...just superb. And we failed to beat the gas in ten league games from 1986 to 1991 - yet they clung onto their 'victim' status by the skin of their teeth!
  9. About eight times I believe including away followings of 2,200+ on more than one occasion, 2,500+ , 3,300+ and 5,200+ - but you still believe you are a hugely supported club and your self-branded 'invasion' of Notts Co was a little embarrassing to be honest.....
  10. Eh?! If someone 'fails to take less' then they took more? So we took more than you to a similar distanced game?
  11. Oh, ok, so you want the title to be 'Bitter Bristol Rovers' - that would get my vote!
  12. Exactly! Nearly 1,000 less than the messiah's first game in charge against the mighty Morecambe was it?! And I'm loving the slow realisation amongst their paltry fanbase that the new owner ain't as rich as they thought! And with perfect comedy timing Lansdown is recently announced as being worth nearly two BILLION dollars! I know there are drawbacks to being in a two club City, but there are comedic advantages too!!!
  13. Something about them being the only club in the league that no-one actually cares about and he was hysterical that they seemed to be sponsored by the snack van in the corner of the ground when they had 'Bradshaws Snack Box' on their shirts! Wahey!
  14. Nope, I'm still laffing at the clown who thought the family was richer than Bill Gates! They ain't even the richest club in Bristol, but they still quote on their forum: '...when we're the Man City of the south west...' You just can't make it up! Has it caught up with them yet that they are in the bottom division with 7,000 fans and have recently lost at home to the likes of Chesham, Stevenage, Newport, Accrington Stanley, etc!
  15. I think we did - Stag Weekend 1997 - them Essex gurls is hot!
  16. As terrace humour goes, that is a pretty fine set of lyrics!
  17. Couldn't be there tonight due to work but is this true?! Did we really think they'd play a possession game and then we were unable to adapt when that turned out to be incorrect?! I was player manager of a local team for 12 years and we changed our tactics instantaneously if we'd obviously got it wrong from the off. Are you telling me that a professional football team didn't realise that they'd got it wrong and couldn't adapt?! That is worrying...
