Far from it ! It's pooh.
We are clearly a 2 man team: z JET & Carey
Too much pre match cider?
-
Powerful Jet shot comfortably saved by Notts. County keeper.
-
Carey ?
Maybe, but if one of the County forwards runs past Carey he'll have no chance of catching him so more likely someone like Flint or Williams will take the card.
Seems to be calming down a bit now.
Mind you Jet shoving Pack away from the ref as I type.

But if SL is being let down by those below him, surely he needs to accept that his board room team needs to be improved and take responsibility for making those appointments? I didn't get the impression from his interview that he felt there was a problem.
What I found sad about Steve's interview was how out of touch he seems with fans' opinions. This is especially so when you look back at how united we were under GJ's tenure.
For example he couldn't understand that many fans weren't happy about SOD's dismissal - yet if he did read this forum he would understand why.
Well, he could hardly have been clearer why O'Driscoll had to go:
"Let's face it, his playing record was poor. Sean's time here was very poor. He was here for 10 months, we won very few games and got relegated rather tamely.
We haven't made an impact in L1 and haven't played very good football.
His departure was down to the fact he hasn't done a good job at this football club in terms of results, where we are in the league, and morale around the football club."
About as damning as you can be, no wonder if he can't understand why many fans are unhappy about SO'D's dismissal.
Poor results, poor football, embarrassingly tame relegation, terrible morale inside the club and in the stands, no real signs that things would improve to avoid another whimpering relegation, and positive proof he wasn't up to the fight last season.
Of course he had to go, and I hope, if SL does read this forum, he realises that many other fans back the decision to get rid of such a disastrously failing manager 100%.

Somebody i know was ejected from the lower Williams on Saturday for telling the Lansdown's what he thought of them
Exactly, it's unlikely these 'board out' type demonstrations as we saw in, and behind, the Williams years ago would be tolerated these days.
I've seen fans venting their anger at the end of games this season being eyed up by stewards, and no doubt being tracked by CCTV.
The next game their seats were empty. Whether this was their choice or not is impossible to say.
The club does seem to have far less hesitation in banning fans these days though.

Hope Burns gets on.
Time to get down the Gate.
Let's have a thumping home win Cotterill.

Glad I wasn't involved in this match thread, some dreadful moaners on here today.
City did what they had to do all game, were up for the battle from the start, created lots of chances and deserved to win by several more goals.
Flint and Jet were outstanding, Baldock, Marvin and Joe Bryan played really well, and only perhaps Taylor and Wagstaff were underpar.
A good solid performance by City against a very physical team on a sloping, rutted pitch ideal for providing a cup upset.
Well done Cotterill too, he represented City with humility, enthusiasm and good humour today.
Good 3rd round draw as well - Watford are beatable at AG, and that's exactly the sort of draw we're looking for at this stage.
