Had a city mate who went to the game today. Said Bolton were nothing short of appalling. A disgrace of a football team.
Funny thing is they've only lost 3 games more than you lot this season, so that tells it's own story.
Anyway, back to Rovers..
What absolute rubbish and lies! In fact it's totally unbelievable what you've just said.....because there's no chance you have a mate.

As an overall set of fans we are obsessed with them. Thread after thread, post after post. One thread has tens of thousands of views and posts
I don't go on their forum but I had a look to see if there were any posts on us. Not one. Not even after one of our players was on the front page of the Sun.
Are you genuinely unable to work out why there is a thread containing thousands of views and posts about a team called Bristol Rovers on a Bristol City forum?

Fixed.
I wonder how many times Rovers have sold out your various homes since 1982? Five, maybe six, times?
Thinking logically - this will be a new phenomenon to you - we have probably sold out more time this season than you lot have since 1982.
If I were you I'd stop the 1982 jibes, as it seems to be more embarrassing for you than for us.
Oh and by the way, any chance you could give me a shout when you do eventually overtake us, build your new stadium, have a wealthier owner than us, etc etc, as I've seen children be born, grow up, get jobs and have their own children since the last time Rovers were in a higher division than BCFC.

Did he try and sell you any food vouchers?
My penis was in his mouth so to be honest he couldn't really talk to be able to sell me any food vouchers

Okay.
I can assure you that he wasn't trying to claw back some of the £1.6m he'd lost during our brief flirtation in the toilet.

I have never, ever heard of the former Wolves goalkeeper, Matt Murray but the fact that he had £1.6m to invest with McIndoe makes one realise how stupidly crazy are professional footballer salaries.
I've just googled him - he played for Wolves for his entire career which ran from 1998-2010 during which time he amassed just 87 first team appearances, retiring due to injury aged 29. An average of just over 7 games per season.
I literally bumped into Matt Murray in the toilets under the South Stand before the Brum game. He was wearing a Sky Sports jacket.
Interesting, eh....

Come on now, everyone. The mickey taking should stop now as they've laid down a real marker today by beating ten man Morecambe.

How is it that song goes again?
Never felt more like singing the blues.....when a Jordanian worth £105bn, (making him one of the richest men in the world, but there is little substance this claim, not dissimilar to Rovers' fans claims over their away support) comes in, but the Rovers still lose. And the City, well they won away at the Dons.

What's really telling is that Rovers' fans have mentioned Bristol City as much, if not more, than their new owners since the takeover was announced. Are we the limit of their ambitions?
We should be flattered, but attention from them makes me a little queasy.
I wonder how this will affect their fanbase once the dust has settled on the deal, as well? They will now have to live with the pressure of a club that has money to spend, and that can be as bad as it can be good.
One final thing to any gasheads who are reading this:
I, NOR ANY OTHER CITY FAN I HAVE SPOKEN TO ABOUT THIS, ARE JEALOUS OF YOUR NEW OWNERS. THINK ABOUT OUR OWNERSHIP, WHERE WE ARE WITH OUR STADIUM AND WHAT DIVISION WE ARE IN AND OUR SITUATION GOING FORWARD IS NOT A HYPOTHETICAL ONE.
SORRY IT IS IN BOLD LETTERS, BUT CLEARLY THAT IS A REQUIREMENT TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE NOT JEALOUS OF YOU AND WE DO NOT FEAR YOU AND SOME OF US EVEN FIND IT FUNNY.
YOURS SINCERELY
THAT GERT JEALOUS 'TED

My word, this has actually happened.
What a very strange set of circumstances, but strangely I don't feel at all worried by this. You can't polish a turd and all that.

I cannot believe this has really happened?! They have paid for and organised a Dean Windass night?! My word that's classless.
If the event was designed to wind us City fans up then I'm afraid all it's done to this City fan is make me cringe like I've never cringed before. They are unbelievable.
Thank you mum and dad for bringing me up as a City fan. Thank you.

According to the methane snorters, the new Gate is a 'meccano kit gone wrong' and 3 stands just 'glued together'.
At least one knows his place as he shut them right up!
And according to me, their ground looks like a Subbuteo kit gone wrong.

Why is it that when we get a bit of success Bristol Rovers' name is barely mentioned, if at all? But when the richest club in the world gets a bit of success then the only hot-topic is Bristol City?
Tis all terribly strange.
