  1. I can't see any sign of that in the competition rules: https://www.thefa.com/-/media/thefacom-new/files/competitions/2023-24/fayc/rules-of-the-fa-youth-challenge-cup-2023-24.ashx
  2. "Show they're all together" by moving away from other fans? Why not rename the club Section 82 FC while we're at it?
  3. It was. As was Sheffield United away in the FA Cup during Covid.
  4. Respect for that! And good to see Oldham reducing prices for his homecoming too. JustGiving page is here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/frankrothwell
  5. It's nothing new. To be eligible for a replay, you need to have been registered for the original tie. If we were to reach the next round, he would be eligible.
  6. There's probably a reason he peaked in English football at Torquay and wasn't overly loved at Port Vale.
  7. But how does something become "accepted" as "the norm" when it isn't absolute adherence to the laws to which they have to adhere? Not that my opinion counts for much (I doubt the EFL, PGMOL, IFAB et al could care for it at all) but it all sounds a bit perverse to me. If the authorities don't believe in the wording of the Laws, why don't they rewrite them rather than change them via some backroom nudge and a wink agreement?
  8. Always good to get answers from actual lived experiences! That said, I don't see anything wooly in the Laws of the Game wording yet it feels like there's more chance of seeing Pele riding a unicorn during an EFL match than a goalkeeper being penalised for it.
  9. If they HAVE to adhere to the laws of the game, why are goalkeepers not routinely penalised for committing the offence of "controls the ball with the hand/arm for more than six seconds before releasing it"?
  10. There's a bit of a Gary Johnson link there too. Top shift from him today.
  11. The only person who seems to see being willfully ignorant as a badge of honour.
  12. Not sure being disqualified for fielding an ineligible player would really count as a win though.
  13. Krauhaus to Brentford has already been signed and sealed. https://www.brentfordfc.com/en/news/article/brentford-b-team-ben-krauhaus-bromley-brentford-transfer
  14. Based on your pattern of rewriting history, not seeing and not hearing things, I wouldn't bank on you knowing what happened.
  15. 3,000,000 Leeds fans? Blimey.
  16. Good question - there was previously leeway for "local promotions" in the EFL rules which allowed home fans to be charged less for (I think) 3 games per season but it now says that "There are no Local Promotions permitted under the Regulation as per previous seasons". See 35.3.11 - https://www.efl.com/governance/regulations/
