  1. Disappointing, got to give some credit to Cardiff, they definitely nullified our threats, with the way they set up, once they scored it was pretty comfortable for them, they didn’t really create that much but then they didn’t need to. Nigel would be livid with their second, shit defending from DaSilva allowing him inside and keepers should not be beaten at their near post after it was not struck like a rocket. Liked their 25, thought he looked very tidy. Not sure about Bell as the front man, not yet anyway. Got to start with Wells in a game like this.
  2. I wonder if the Cardiff Facilities Management team are concerned for the safety of the away end toilets today???
  3. I can't see that based on some of the his interviews and general demeanour, he's had his share of car crash clubs or bad relations with the board, he's totally bought into the task he's been given and I suspect from an achievement and kudos perspective he would take more from getting us into the Prem, than keeping poorly run Prem team up, although I think he still holds a soft spot for Leicester as do their fans to him, so that might be the only slight concern I'd have if Brendon Rogers was moved on.
  4. I think this will be an element of not wanting to do business in public. I suspect the Lansdown's know that the club is in a good place and would be happy with the progress and the relationship they have with NP. How many public interviews have they done this year compared to others? NP understands the situation he's been asked to resolve, and whilst there has been one or two little barbs about funds available, it is something that he's totally bought into - NP isn't sexy enough for most Prem Teams these days, so I can't see any immediate risk of him being approached nor any contractual issue either from the owners / board and his.
  5. Amazing how people see games differently, I thought he got himself all over the pitch last night, harrying, sticking his foot in and breaking play up, I'll give you that he's not the best passer of the ball, but that's not really his job, that's more the James / Scott role. I think he's been very effective in the past few games that he's played alongside James, collectively they make a good partnership, allowing Scott to concentrate on his thing..
  6. Agreed Sykes looked a very good call, Sam very much less so, keeper put his foot through the ball, Sam just ran onto the clearance.
  7. That’s going to be the challenge to get them up again, we can all see the positives but will the players have found that mentally and physically draining, not just the 90mins but the build up and the disappointment with the result. These guys are competitors who want to win, I don’t think they’ll immediately see the picture that we can.
  8. WUM, you’ve been at it all night. Don’t normally block people but you’ve been incessantly tedious.
  9. I think that’s a bit harsh, I don’t think we showed them respect, I think it’s more they ran out of a bit of steam after the 1st half intensity. Aside from the last 20 mins we certainly went toe to toe with them.
  10. Yes I don’t think we deserved a 3-0, Id have loved to hear the crowd if a we’d have got one. Foden has just said as much
  11. Rather he went to Man City, partly to relieve them of an exceptionally large amount of Arab cash, and partly as he’ll get a proper education from Pep.
  12. Yep, a bit shaky at times but overall he did ok, you can’t judge him against that sort of team.
  13. Not been Zak’s night. Let’s hope we can at least score one, just want to hear the Gate erupt.
  14. There’s been some odd decisions.. Some soft ones in favour of the Prem team.
  15. Try NordVPN it’s a pay service but never lets me down on my Saturday afternoons around Europe
  16. That is a soft one awarded by Marriner, yet Sykes’ wasn’t a pen…..
  17. It’s looking worryingly incisive and effortless, De Bruyne is becoming more influential.
