  1. Got to be something from the tacticians for this game. But surely the aim is still to get the ball in the box, we piss about with it and they push out and we end up going backwards…. Ref is a knob
  2. Agreed, it’s all just a bit meh right now. Martin and Wiemann quiet again..it’s too early to say ineffectual but it’s building to that
  3. Depends on who you’re playing….good fishing though
  4. I thought it was a touring show…..Fulham, Luton, West Brom, Birmingham
  5. Depends on Bentley’s recovery from Covid I guess. I would argue that he needs a break, keeping is a confidence position
  6. Very much looked poor all round too, feel sorry for those that ventured up to that shithole and watched it in person.
  7. This referee is a bit of a knob, hasn’t affected the result, but just seems overly officious.
  8. Apart from the 1st 20 mins, we’ve been utterly shit today. We’ve still not lost the ability to look like a Sunday morning pub team rocking up after a night on the cider.
  9. I'm sorry to say but Scott has been awful today and doesnt look interested That was the exact wording of your post….Struggling to see any other translation of that line
  10. Good organised team, play to their strengths. Dont get all Newcastle on us, just because we’re potentially the “bigger” team it doesn’t give us the right to win every game. Blackpool have done their homework, Massengo and Scott have no time and we’re either losing the ball or pushing us back to defend areas to that we are not comfortable in, resulting in aimless clearances, which just come straight back.
  11. Having a bad game does not make you uninterested, he’s playing ok, just nothing really is going for him. All part of his football education
  12. I don’t disagree but he’s a better full back / wing back than CB. Not sure he’s got the positional understanding for that position yet
  13. We just can’t play against teams that play from back to front quickly.
  14. Jesus, how ******* open was he? Not convinced with Cam in a back 3
  15. Not sure that Vyner would help, he’s not exactly the towering header winner nor particularly effective of being assertive in his own box. Plus in this wind aimless puts upfield won’t help either. So no not a game for Vyner
  16. We’ve got to be so easy to play against at times, get the ball in the box, create a bit of chaos and see what happens
  17. Don’t want Zak Vyner anywhere near this game, Madine and Yates would have a field day.
  18. That’s a bit disappointing. Startedly reasonable brightly as well. Getting one back before half time would be useful.
  19. Fair enough, this is one of those pub questions that there will always be a differing views….
  20. Disagree, watch from 29-31 seconds, the scorer is pretty much standing on Vyner's toes, then pulls away with Vyner seeming totally oblivious to the movement, if Vyner moves to follow, then the space for that shot goes. Kalas was too far away and had his back to what was going on, yes he could have waited before attacking the ball, but the closest player failed to track the movement in front of him. I get that Vyner is not a combative player nor is he someone that's going to win a header, but you can defend by reading and denying space, and that appears to be lacking. I certainly wouldn't consider bringing him on as a sub in an attempt to park the bus in the last few minutes of a game, that's just asking for trouble
