I have to agree - when they showed his goal on Saturday I thought the same - and even if Antoine were to leave us before long he looks like a good replacement.

Just watched on EFL goals with Colin Murray - it wasn’t just offside - it was clearly offside. Another poor decision by officials who are supposed to be professionals!! Poor poor yet again!!

Meant to say he almost “totally stopped” after signalling to the bench!

Totally get that but he stopped running when out of possession early in the second half and almost stopped later - after he’d signalled to the bench. Its that sort of thing that I think frustrates NP!

At least he kept alert, chased after the ball and looked lively and interested when he didn’t have the ball - unlike Nakhi, who was ok when he had the ball but, especially in the second half, looked decidedly disinterested in getting involved when he lost the ball!

Whilst the midfield was awful - a few matches ago the midfield, which was mainly the kids, started to look promising. As soon as James and Williams started playing any fluidity and drive seems to have totally disappeared. I can’t remember James’s contract details - but I really hope he’s gone at the end of the season. As for Williams - will he ever stay fit??

Don’t forget this is a three year plan …. Year One - Survive - (Hopefully) Year Two - improve ???? Year Three - ………..

We seem so determined to pass pass pass when in recent years teams that have done really well in the championship have run and attacked with pace - Leeds, Norwich, Wolves etc Why can’t we attack with pace??

Williams must be the biggest waste of money ever. He just can’t stay fit!

We seem to be trying to play a controlled game when Barnsley are playing everything at 100 mph and rushing us. Gotta hope they run themselves into the ground and we pick them off in the second half!

What a joke referee - appalling decision for Barnsley's penalty. These sort of decisions - which we never seem to get could be very costly come the end of the season!

Couldn’t agree more - book him the first time - does it again he gets sent off and an outfield player has to come on! Respect should be shown - like Kelleher did!

Rather than getting heavy handed - the club just need to make sure the players know that they must NOT give their shirt to any child who runs onto the pitch. The PA announcers (or Downsy) need to remind fan that they mustn’t run onto the pitch as players will not be giving away their shirts to anyone who does! Simples!!

At the time I felt that Williams was the one who was “just not at the party” and lost possession too easily. But totally agree we are often too soft in these circumstances and need to take one for the team and accept a Yellow card for taking down a player! Too often are we too easy to get past!
