  1. Thanks @shahanshahanand @ralphindevon. You both somewhat confirm my suspicions that the rewards scheme continues to be a pile of steaming turd.
  2. Yes looks to be a chap in a dark coloured uniform, and then potentially another official in a red shirt? Wasn’t the offside rule quite different in this era also? That might explain it…
  3. Chap on the line looks to be wearing gloves. Could he be the keeper? Don’t think it was mandatory for keepers to wear an alternate colour in this era, but could be wrong. Think they were usually denoted by wearing a cap of sorts?
  4. Hi all, so I’m wondering: is it possible to get a club shop voucher worth more than £5 with the points? If not, can more than one voucher be used per transaction? Secondly, anyone else on here got both football and rugby season tickets? This is my first season with both, and just wondering how the rugbys version of the rewards scheme works? Whenever I login it auto defaults to the city page… cheers!
  5. I believe so yes. It sticks in my mind as it was also the kit worn by the BCFC fans team vs BRFC fans team in the match (I played in) at AG in 2011/12!
  6. We had a yellow and blue away kit in 2011/12 season. Notable for the club “donating” the principle shirt sponsorship to the Community Trust:
  7. A deserved win for me. Kerr is world class no doubt about that. But matching the 11vs11 who played the majority of the 90 minutes, overall ours was/is stronger.
  8. I’ve just unhidden my expired passes and hey presto, the Birmingham tickets have appeared. Date and time of the match is correct, so hopefully all is in order. Thinking about it, might get to the ground 5 mins earlier… just in case…
  9. Yeah I thought it was pretty crap this week also. Yes, Alex Scott is a great player and will go on to become an even greater one. But the way the show was set up this week you’d think he was the messiah. Ed H - Give it a rest! Back to the normal format next week please!
  10. Agree. It’s not exactly popping up on eBay in great numbers, suggests people hanging onto it. On the subject of vintage shirts, whoever it was who drove the price up of the 93/94 shirt on eBay… boo to you. Price of vintage city shirts is getting ludicrous.
  11. Bringing this thread back on topic - Downsy is crap.
  12. I often take what NP says with a pinch of salt. There will be more flexibility in the budget than he publicly implies, but we aren’t going to allow ourselves to be fleeced (thankfully those MA days are behind us).
  13. Exactly, can’t believe it was so hard for some posters to get that way back at the start of this thread. BCFC - you can stick your ******* donuts/doughnuts up your arse. Get the kiosks stocked up with an adequate amount of grub and not those god awful ******* hot dogs. Should not be running out of food at 40 minutes into the first half, simples.
  14. This is bad news but surely now mandates another addition to the squad.
  15. It’s ok, I get what you’re trying to say. FWIW some of the best atmospheres at games that I have attended have been under the designated “Red & White Nights” circa 2003-2006. I would really like to see these return tbh. Also, as has been mentioned many times, bin off Downsy who does nothing but sterilise the atmosphere even further.
  16. I think we lack the hostility of the old EE tbh, and that has definitely worsened the atmosphere. Part of the charm/idiosyncrasies of the pre-refurb AG was that it felt like you were right up against the pitch (particularly in the old dolman lower tier and the front of the EE). Now it seems like the pitch is quite distant. Section 82 is a good effort, but not up to scratch in all honesty.
  17. Agree. Tbh might have to be a pre-match grub stop at Wetherspoons at this rate.
  18. Not when you consider I got in the queue at 40 mins (I.e. still in the first half technically). ******* crap.
  19. I suppose another negative was the painfully flat atmosphere throughout the match, only livened up by some suspect refereeing. Not sure how we address this, and clearly with a significant portion of people attending under mates rates tickets, it isn’t an easy fix.
  20. I agree with all of this, plus we still look mentally weak and naive as a squad.
  21. I want to laugh at this, but I can’t you’re spot on. ******* stupid idea.
  22. Nah, trust it’s not what it’s hyped up to be… ?
  23. Not only is it robbery the hot dogs are frankly crap. Whole cabinet full of them in the south stand kiosk, not hard to see why. Get some more pasties in ffs. You could also argue the lack of food meant queues flowed more quickly… maybe.
