whats the deal with Tisza Tibor?

why has his name come up so much recentley

have we been linked with him?

because I know it's only youtube, and it's the hungarian league but wow, that guy can finish.

looks like he can win matches all by himself.

Apparently, we've already signed him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibor_Tisza

Amazing! (although I suspect that this could be a huge fib. Check out the hilarious link to TT's english language website)

Who needs scouts anymore? I have just been on a scouting mission via Youtube and that Tibor Tisza fellow looks darned good!

Good feet, an eye for goal and man, does that chap like a long range free kick.

Get him on a season long loan. Ujpest don't seem to mind that!

Tristan Plummer anyone? Got to be worth a try, based on what his form might be like in upcoming friendlies etc.

Or what about a big money move for James Beattie - I know, Sheff Utd won't let him go etc, but we can try can't we?

Jerome Cameron from Birmingham? They might be looking to freshen up their squad.

What about Ian Hulme at Leicester - always seems to score a fair old few in CCC (11 this season for a crappy team like leicester!)

beattie wouldn't come and imo is seriously overated

cameron jerome is a good shout young quick and doesn't get much of a chance at brum

ian hume isn't good enough. he gets many easy chances and misses them

In his second interview on World Pete Johnson mentioned that he would scout the pre-U21 European Championships in Sweden in May. The tournament is played on the 25th, 28th and 31rd of May. Sweden plays Portugal, France and Holland. Some decent strikers with a bright future to scout.

Troups for the tournament:

see now this is where i come back to one of my earliest reposts to my origiginal post. looking at the countless players that many out there have offered up i am still of the opinion that we need 1 or 2 experienced strikers with 1 youngster at a low cost covered by those who have left not neccessariy by choice but opens up a wage channel. so for the lower wage younger one i go back to stevie gillespie and please hear me out on this shout. left liverpool to come here and scored like 7 in 3 games then struggled in 1st team cause probrably tried too hard. so he's at chelters and now amongst top scorers in L1 with only a few less than beckford and a couple more than garner so if he was happy enough to come here before and he seems to have a better calm attitude so can score and assist then why not go for him on loan and send 2 academy or reserves as good will as it could be beneficial all round.

I'm not sure if this name has already been mentioned and i cant be bothered this time in the morning to read through the whole post, but what about carlton cole from west ham?

he seems to of been frozen out there and they are probably going to sign a striker or two over the summer.

he could do a decent job in the championship

David Clarkson of Motherwell, who was mentioned earlier, scored a brilliant goal on his Scotland debut today in Prague against the Czechs. Took a brilliant touch from a cross to beat him man and drilled it across the goal past Petr Cech. He's a talent who's clearly not overawed by a big occasion (a friendly it may have been, but it was his debut for his country. A big chance for him) and is definitely worth a look.

Soon I'll make another compilation when I'm not so lazy :)

Thanks for that. Can he score the ugly goals aswell though? We already have a striker in LT who can score wonder goals. Think we just need an out an out goalscorer.

Yes, but he is more creative. He is good on one on ones too. Check the second of his two goals in this clip.

Blimey, impressive stuff. If there was ever a case for considering signing a player on video evidence this Tibor bloke must be it.

Love to see him at the Gate.

Anyone know what sort of bid might tempt them? :dunno:

Because it's Hungary... you wouldn't have to pay more than a Million pounds.

Is he the sort of player that people in Hungary are expecting to move abroad this summer? Are there lots of clubs looking at him do you know?

Thanks for the info.

hows about the south american route?? anyone seen any little gems out there? not bein orrid but there's quite a few out there who would love the chance to earn a bit of cash to send back home and sure they would come cheaper than europeans and hespanic strikers tend to have little more flair

Very PC made me laugh the i nearly peed me pants maybe we should look at some Indians on that basis they would die on the pitch if nessecary( quite literally well nearly loss of limb maybe.) just to send a few rupees back to India Classic. :D

Sign him up, :icecream: looks awesome. Plays as a striker and also right midfield... Perfect :winner_third_h4h:

Two of the brightest talents playing in a lesser European league at the moment who maybe worth a look at are Dieumerci Mbokani (Striker) and Steven Defour (Right sided Midfielder) from Standard Liege (Belgium), they maybe off our radar I'm not sure. I know Pete Johnson went over last season to watch Standard Liege play and would be surprised if it wasn't one of these two he was looking at.

Under a million would surely be worth a bid. Anyone can see the lad has ability an looks to be a match winner. The only worry I would have is it may take him a while to get used to the English style. Think Vasko struggled with the pace of our game.

It's hard to say from video clips, but video clips of Carle were what made Pete Johnson go and watch him when the Aussies played in London.

Tisza has had a great season (he was good the one before too but looks to have kicked on further), the Hungarian league is probably near to the same standard we're in, and he's still young and relatively cheap.

Wishful thinking I'm sure, but I would think it was worth an Easyjet flight to have a look. It's quite likely they've seen him already when looking at Vasko.
