On that basis, how can he possibly Justify Stern John's inclusion as he was dog sh!t that had festered for a really long time in humid conditions.

Maybe he thinks he may well um score or something strange like that

Not too sure about that. Ipswich have had six corners and a hatful of chances, bringing out good saves from Basso.

1-0 down at home. What do you expect them to do, sit back and let us score again?

Gotta weather the storm and hit them on the break wherever possible.

At least we are ahead though, have to expect pressure away from home,if we can hang on a bit they are sure to become frustrated

For the first quarter of a hour or so City were closing Ipswich down quickly, now they seem to have plenty of time and space to play.

Lets hope City have got the stamina for this - 1-0 is good but we won't hold that lead for 85 minutes if we carry on conceding territory.

Neo's basing his comment on Stern's performance on Saturday.

It's easy to be wise after the event but Stern's going to need alot more events like the one after 5 mins. tonight to convince many fans he's worth a contract.

Ambrose is one player I'd like to have seen City go in for.

Having a storming game by the sound of it with 4 recent shots to test Basso.

If the commentator is to believed each one produced a "great save from Adriano Basso" although the most recent one was 'just' good

How about scoring think thats justifys his inclusion

If you get enough chances both in terms of games and scoring opportunities, you're bound to score eventually.

Lets wait and see how good a goal it was before we say it justifies his inclusion.

Lots of people wise after the event, but many would not have started Stern after Saturday.
