This comes quite close to a classic...

Leeds and Everton = Small clubs?....

You've backtracked on the Everton bit slightly, but how you can say history is JUST history and doesn't make a club big i'll never know. It's all about history and fan base.

As for Ajax, they're still the biggest club in their country by a country mile if you ask me. Like Spudd55 said above, just because they're not doing great this year, or last, or for the past few years or whatever, doesn't mean they're not a big club! Rotterdam+Eindhoven are big clubs, but not on the scale of Ajax.

Tanz....hopefully the cold light of day will make you see the error of your ways and you can put all this behind you. History is an integral part of any club. To judge a club by it`s current standing and dismissing it`s history is foolish.

By your reckoning Man City were a big club, got relegated so not so big, got relegated again so must be really small, but then got promoted and then promoted again so they`re a big club again.

By your reckoning Newcastle are no longer a big club `cos they`re now in the CCC even though we could only dream of their ST sales.

Liverpool are dismissed out of hand for their lack of PL titles, what about the Champions League ?

We`re all entitled to our opinions and we all dig holes for ourselves. Sometimes though, you just have to know when to shut the heck up.
