EmersonsKev
I don't think the most nieve thought West Ham Millwall would pass without trouble. However to be stabbed in the chest while following your team is a step to far. BBC Report

WTFiGO!?!
Different set of rules, I s'pose. I, like you I s'pect, live in a comfortably safe stroke naive World. I'm hard suprised, tbh.

edson
It's been brewing all week on the Millwall forum, with suggestions of songs for Davenport, which were only ever going to incite trouble. Anyone posting songs like that on here wouldn't have lasted five minutes on here before being hounded out by right thinking people. On their forum, they were treated with hilarity as people tried to think of 'better' songs. It's a mindset I just can't begin to understand. purescience
I guess it's pretty much impossible to have a bubble match when the two teams are from the same city... All they could do was stick a load of riot police in there but that hasn't done much good...
Old Dazzler
please tell me why this isn't a bubble match. Harsh on us! It would be a bit like having a bubble match for City v The Gas, or any other same city derby. You can control to a reasonable degree what goes on in the stadium, you could bus away fans to the ground, but how can you stop hundreds/thousands of idiots having a pre-planned riot on their own doorstep. It's a mindset I just can't begin to understand. it makes our rivalry with the gas/baardiff look very timid i was just talking to my dad about it and he said when he went to west ham in the 70s he saw a bloke wondering round with a gun

Well they could do a bubble match where the coaches pull up right by the turnstiles, get checked by police before they go and the fans cant like walk anywhere around the ground. Fair enough they will be treated like animals but to be honest they deserve it. Disgusting. And about that song thats a disgrace, who the ****would sing that!? Dont like Millwall at all! Quote me if i'm wrong, but didnt the gas have to use a bubble trip to Ashton Gate when we met in the LDV? match passed without incident. Yet the 2nd leg was not a bubble for City fans, and there was quite a lot of disorder inside and outside the ground? so yeah a bubble is possible in the same city.
