bartolona
Quote me if i'm wrong, but didnt the gas have to use a bubble trip to Ashton Gate when we met in the LDV? match passed without incident. Not a bubble, just coaches made available to travel on if wished.
Barrs Court Red
They now have footage of it going of in the ground. Lots of silly people are now facing some serious time and others some serious banning orders. I can't comment on what may or may not have happened outside, but I'm amazed at what I've just seen in the ground. Surely they realise there's noo escape from the cctv? Ronnie Sinclair
I remember when Millwall came down here once (1991-ish I think Teddy Sheringham was still playing for them), we got hammered 4-1 and it kicked off big time in Ashton Park afterwards - some loon had a mace
Port Said Red
The Millwall people worked really hard to get away from this image but it's so ingrained. my dad told me that he remembered their ground being closed in the 1930's, I wonder how that was reported then? Bristoliain
Can the FA take action against the clubs? Didnt Inter have to play games behind closed doors a few years ago for a similar thing?
MarcusX
It's been brewing all week on the Millwall forum, with suggestions of songs for Davenport, which were only ever going to incite trouble. Anyone posting songs like that on here wouldn't have lasted five minutes on here before being hounded out by right thinking people. On their forum, they were treated with hilarity as people tried to think of 'better' songs. It's a mindset I just can't begin to understand. Nothing less than West Ham should expect after their disgusting chants aimed at Defoe!
EmersonsKev
Millwall as a football club can obviously not control there fans therefore they should be banned from traveling to any away games. As usual the minority ruin it for the majority. However in Millwalls case it is probably the other way round.

Dollymarie
There were just as many West Ham fans running onto the pitch as there were Millwall from the pictures they've been showing. I cant believe that there are still this type of idiot about, its the mindless few who spoil it for the rest of us, and keep all football fans tarred with the same brush. And the chants about Davenport, I cant even type what I want to say what I think about them.

The highlights were just on Sky sports news and no doubt they will be on again, more action of the 'fans' as there was actual football. Completely stupid. Agree on Davenport. Deej-Legend
I can safely say that after seeing the 'action' on SSN that ive not seen anything like that in my football-supporting life. Dollymarie
Im all for throwing West Ham out of the competition for failing to control their supporters (it'll never happen I know) and give whoever they would have got in the next round a bye. 21. Marcham
From the footage i've seen in the ground it's all Westham so I don't know why people are blaming Millwall when they havn't seen any footage of outside the ground. There will be Millwall involved I know but the blame gets put on Millwall all the time by the media.

Portland Bill
More BBC qoutes "Meanwhile Ben Newton, from Harrow, north London, said his father had been stretchered away after being hit with a dart to the head" How the hell do you get into a ground with a dart. Ask Mellor the Fulham keeper who had 3 thrown at him from the East End in the mid 70's!
