WHoever the ***** was that shouted out "Viva democracy" at the end should go look it up. Far more people are for this whole project that there are nimbys and trendy bloggers.

******* clowns, I'm ashamed to be associated with Bristol when things like this happen. Sporting backwater for a very good reason.

No stadium then

There will be a stadium it will go to appeal and if worse comes to worse the Ashton Gate site will be sold to housing developers and additional fiance will be found elsewhere *cough mr chairman*

Right, let's hope Mr Lansdown finances the new stadium and we make Ashton Gate a gypsy caravan park! Some residents don't realise how good they've got it.

Its not the residents fault.

It's a certain clique that seem to think they're community leaders, when in reality they just lead a baying crowd of Ruperts, Taras and lefty public sector faliures on a power trip.

City should stop all community projects they run with the council to provide something seperately. Also, during a period of any success don't let the scum councilors try in bask in any of that glory.

At the end of the day, the permission for Ashton Vale is there. Tell the council to **** off if they want an Arena on site (If SL is willing o fund the shortall)

Donate Ashton Gate to Bristol Rugby.

Could you also leave us a few million so we can maintain it too.

The 4 people and the 2 who abstained, have done more damageto the future of Bristol than any supermarket would have done.

With the government spending axe about to fall, the lastthing you need is to stop the private sector from investing in Bristol.

Would the last person out please turn out the light.

Credit to the council employees participating on the meeting.

Mrs. Willcox was very impressive and so was the young man who did most of the talking.

I thought that the guy who did most of the talking was a twonk. He couldn't talk properly.
