Hunt - Stewart - Fontaine - JMC ---- Marv --- Cisse --- Skuse ---- --------------- Albert ----------------- ---------Stead ------ Pitman ------ Would be worried about defending on the flanks, but it looks a decent counterattacking formation. If we were playing this I think I would have Clarkson in the hold instead of Adomah.. we will have to wait and see if the OS or the commentary tells us the formation. GrahamC Posted September 11, 2010 Report Share Posted September 11, 2010 Very surprised that KM has gone for the same back four again, I fully expected Carey to start and although the OS says 4-4-2 with Skuse on the left of 4, I wouldn't be shocked if it was 4-3-3 with Albert switching flanks. The pitch at Glanford Park is apparently 111 x 73 yards ( Link ) I think the limits for pitch width is between 50 and 100 yards? So it's pretty standard.
