He's a little poor little g*shead

his face is all tattered and torn

he made me feel sick

so i hit him with a brick

and now he don't sing anymore!

I say! That's awfully offensive. Promoting violence like that. What will the children think. That hitting people with bricks is OK? I'm so deeply offending that I think my Daily Mail reading head will explode

Phew and there was me thinking I was going to be the only one clapping and chearing on an ex Rovers player !

To be honest in the past when an ex sag has played against us it generally gets the crowd going more which in turn will spur our boys onto victory tomorrow !

It also pumps certain players up to play better.

Do you want Ashton Gate to be intimidating for kids and make them not want to come back?

Or you could sing about our own players and give them a lift?

Just don't see the word of the C word, its just disgusting and any other word would be better!

Football should be a family game, not something ugly.

Well, I loved it when I was a kid!

mind you, I was'nt wrapped in cotton wool and told how perfect the world was....

And look at you now,

"Lambert you're a ****"

Now kids, what I said was bad, don't say it.

"But Daddy how can you say it but not us"

"Because I love it!!!! Football isn't for kids and woman"

Football used to be the working mans sport, working men and women would hear and repeat language in their daily lives !

Living in a bubble if people think the modern generation dont swear !

Of course there are different levels of bad language used.

Yes when I was a kid I would be forced to wash my mouth with soap and water, but dont expecy many kids growing up nowadays would have to do that !

In all walks of live nowadays you hear men, women and children swear its just the culture we live in now, add the passion of the football and there is your answer. . .

<br />What a charmer you are <img src='http://www.otib.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /><br /><br />Has to be one of the most vile and pointless chants Ive ever heard. <img src='http://www.otib.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/disapointed2se.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':disapointed2se:' /><br />

I can't wait to sing this tomorrow.

If he's going to score a hat trick ,he will.

My only comfort from the day will be to give him hell!

Wonderful chant that gets to the heart of the matter.

What about me now tins????

I swear at football matches? anything else?

oh and I never said football isnt for kids and women - just they should adapt. Instead of changing everything to suit them. Football is attended by mainly adult men. Things should'nt be changed to accomadate the minority - even though thats the done thing in this country

But why do you hear them swear?

Why did you have to wash your mouth out?

Just because it's done doesn't mean its acceptable.

I'm only saying please don't use the C word with kids around. Especially when there is no need.

How can you not see doing something and then telling your kids not to do it is right???

It's so ridiculous, they probably look up to you and will copy you when you're not watching.

All i'm saying is please don't use the C word for no reason.

They are taught kids should not swear, but its okay for adults too.

And I dont care if my kids swear, as long as they dont swear at adults. Because I accept the reality that they will swear, AS ALL KIDS DO.

To be fair Tins, you dont really here the "C" word much at a ground, only the very off shout, and cant think of any chants with that word in

If you look back at this thread there is a chant which repeats it, I'm only agaist that chant.

Don't swear, don't boo, don't be mean haha! It's funny how people like to tell other people what to do, think and say!

In the words of Ace Ventura "how selfish of me, lets do all the things that you want to do!":surrender:

How selfish of me, I will swear in front of kids cause all I think about is my self.

I never said don't boo. Just not the C word.

No, I am asking you. Its what you teach your kids. Why?

I tell them its naughty and Kids should'nt swear and its not nice to hear.

Its also lacks respect.

Though I teach em its okay for adults to swear at football - becauses its acceptable at a football match.

But its not acceptable anywhere else.

What do you teach your kids? if you have kids?

What is it with "the C word"? you sound like a woman!

Personally I have always prefered the term "gash" far more descriptive!

Anyway, Lambert is a gashead C***, so therefore it is not for "no reason". I doubt Riaz just stands there aimlessly shouting C*** in general for no reason!

Spot on! I dont like to think that my kids swear at school or amongst their friends but I can guarentee that they do, especially if they are anything like me and every other kid I knew at their age.

I knew pretty much every swear word and insult possible from school long before my dad took me to my first City match (apart from maybe sheepsh*gger, which was a new one for me). Its life, kids swear, parents like to think their kids dont swear...but they do.
