ollywhyte
Confirmed Teams Boro Hull Leicester Brighton Watford Derby Burnley Leeds Ipswich Millwall Palace Peterborough Forest Bristol City Barnsley Charlton Wolves Potential Teams West Ham Birmingham Blackpool Cardiff Sheff Wed Sheff United MK Dons Huddersfield Notts County Stevenage Carlisle Blackburn Bolton QPR Wigan Aston Villa Stoke and Norwich (not going to happen but still mathematically possible) What teams would you like to join us in the Championship next season? And what teams do you think will join us? Picking three from the red group, two from the green group (has to include a Sheffield club as one of those is guaranteed an automatic spot) and two from the blue group For me... Would like: West Ham Birmingham Cardiff Sheffield Wednesday Stevenage Blackburn Villa I think: Birmingham Blackpool Cardiff Sheffield Wednesday Sheffield United Blackburn Bolton
Fordy62
I'd love to see Villa down. Their attendances are poor now, who knows what they'd do down here!

Mad Cyril
Every year there is always one new team that comes up or comes down that everyone wants to visit for the away fixture. I think Villa would be the only novelty team among that list. They would also be the only team the producers at The Championship could feature every week as the main match featuring a team they imply has a right to walk the league..... petehinton
Can't begin to imagine the scenes if Villa go down. They used to be my prem team and the set up and passion there is at Villa Park and the surrounding areas is unreal, relegation would really hit them hard. BcfcAllen
So you don't think we will do the double over anyone next season? I may be missing something but can i ask how you got us to finish on 71 points with those predictions? 13 wins + 16 draws = 55. Sorry, quoted the wrong person and dunno how to change it. U'll know what i mean though if you've been reading the previous posts.
BCAGFC
Gerry Gow & John Galley as legends/icons. The debt should be 20m as well IMO but that is a difficult one if it is tied up in stadium shares instead. BCAGFC

Their attendances are poor now, who knows what they'd do down here! Alex McLeish would be guilty of taking two different Clubs from the same City from the Premier League to the Championship in succesive seasons. They'd string him up from the roof of the Holte End. Villa are badly in decline it seems, Randy Lerner refuses to spend money and they've no form whatsoever. Villa look doomed if the teams below 'em start to drag some points in

Milton Red
The last time City played Blackburn was in the 1991 - 92 season, City won the home game 1 - 0 on 24th August 1991 with a goal from Wayne Allison and lost the away game 4 - 0 on 11th January 1992. Wasn't Blackburn at home the first game of one particular season after we'd been promoted from the old Div 3? Seem to remember going behind then being 3-1 in a matter of minutes and going on to win 4-2?? Remember being crushed in the East End when the 3rd went in and I dropped my fag, ouch! One BCFC
We won't be play offs next season, I do not get why everyone is so over optimistic all the time, we are an average championship team at best! Just look at the teams coming up and down this season, it won't be easy next season, we will be around 11th and that for me is a good season. Stop being too optimistic, it would annoy me to see people moaning about finishing 11th or outside the playoffs.
