slartibartfast
Haha remember it well - we were in the Bournemouth end and kept it quiet till the last min when tony Thorpe rounded the keeper and made it 3-1 when we cheered ....and ran ! What, from B'muff, grow a pair ! :0) I was there as well, night match.
bristolcitysweden
Rejected by Celtic? After 6 years with the club? As I said the lad is a quality full back and I hope he signs on... We still need a centre half and a striker - Yes, we all know that but Wilson will be a great addition also. Rejected at the age of 28. Rightly so. BookEnd
Rejected at the age of 28. Rightly so. You do realise that isn't even that old for a defender, infact he is arguably in and around the prime age, so is perfect for us to sign him on now. Not like he is 32 and on a decline ability wise. Frank Reynolds
What will the sallary be though? Will not come cheap. Money could be more wisely spent. Rejected by Celtic who soon are to play Helsingborgs IF with players on 1/5 of their sallary. When we're on the verge of Champions League football we'll be in a position to 'reject' players of Wilson's quality. Until then we should strive to improve the first eleven in any way we can. I'd take strengthening at the back over a striker of push came to shove.

bristolcitysweden
In the end we don't have a clue if it's a good deal or not for the club as we don't get to know the signing on bonus and his weekly sallary. Should he be paid 1/5 of what he was paid at Celtic I can agree on a one year deal. Without a signing on bonus. Don't seems to be much interest anyway so make it 1/7. Phil78
a bit disappointing that Bournemouth had a second 11 out Indeed, you'd think they would put out decent 11 for sharpness, but never mind. Decent enough result, I'd imagine at 2-0 we just sat back and saw game out without any pressure, Hard to tell how we are progressing at the moment with quality of players we've been up again, bar Southampton all been much lesser sides, All starts Tuesday, need a good start. Brizzle Jordan
Well done boys. Another clean-sheet, another couple of goals scored, another good amount of chances created, another win. Top class pre-season, well done Derek and his team.

Dolman Block B
Just back to the hotel Decent run out for the lads Have to say I've not seen them this fit for seasons In very warm weather then dominated 90% of the match Positives Bolaise looks better than ever Heaton is defo No1 keeper Cunningham is superb James Wilson Do we really need a centre half? Strong and demanding Negatives Kiillkenny turns away from goal ever time he got the ball Marv. Not yet match fit Pitman. Lazy but knows where the goal is Personally think if we get the striker and ball winning midfielder we are going shock a lot if teams this year

The flanks look very strong for sure, fullbacks and wingers are of great ability. Still think we are a little weak in the middle in defence, midfield and up top though. Agree that central midfield is still a major area that can improve us even more. I think that's why the explosion of excitement at the thought of Buzsaky. A player in his mould and McManus at the back and a Baldock/Jackson up front will be some squad.

Holloway is light years away from 1st team Reid looked ok tbh Best player on pitch by miles was Bolaise He really is the new Albert but faster Bigger and stronger than last season
