He wasn't accused of lying just that is evidence was unreliable as he changed his story. What would happen if you called your bosses a **** and still an hour later no apology? Most people would be sacked so Cole can't complain if the same happens to him. This is such an ill-advised, petulant comment from him wouldn't surprise if it was pre-meditated. Can he be arsed to play for England now his mate Terry doesn't? Could this lead the way to Cole retiring from international football before he gets turfed out?
