BlokeCDP
@bcfctweetsPitch has been covered and although galeforce winds displaced some covers overnight, there was no rainfall. Pitch has been covered again. @bcfctweetsThere is NO pitch inspection planned ahead of #BristolCity v Peterborough United. That was 3 hours ago though... Abraham Romanovich
You should know that keeping the covers on will make the pitch 'sweat', anything could happen with a full delivery. Where's Geoffrey Boycott when you need him. I think the groundsman is preparing a slow turner.
Uncle Albert
That was 3 hours ago though... Guess they may still be on... that was tweeted three hours ago, though! It's like you read my mind...!

madmax
Rain is on and off in Ashton Vale at the moment. I think the winds will ensure it doesn't last too long. Ian Fergusson tweeted rain moving east and drying out around Bristol from 1pm. MM
Mrdc
With Peterbrough being in stupidly good form, would a postponent benefit us? Then hopefully the rearranged game could be played when their on a bad run?

The rain has stopped but the water's still pouring off the fields around here.
Fordy62
I've just been on the OS to look for an update. The news is not good. I've just remembered why I don't go on there, my blood pressure has just doubled and I'm now ******* fuming. When will the retards sort it out? Why would expect anything more than an irrelevant picture? My favourite thing the OS does is randomly scroll to the next article when I've only read the first five or six words of the one I want! Red-Robbo
It says its going to be pissing down on the bbc website, from 2-4 so who is lying, this is so annoying. A forecast is just that - an educated guess. It's not a guarantee, and no two meteorologists will interpret the same data in the same way. The BBC website's one comes from the Met Office, who theoretically should be the best of the bunch - but they too can occasionally be caught out. Radio Bristol's forecasts went downhill IMO when they lost their last trained meteorologist, Richard Angwin, to Al Jazeera.
