pongo88
Jackie has got a lot of votes but for me he wasn’t the best for one reason – lack of consistency. Some great games but others when he did very little. IMO Goater was a better player because it played well on a regular basis. The thread is entitled “Best Foreigner That You Have Seen Playing For City?...” It doesn’t say anything about best football ability. If we’re looking for the best player for humorous entertainment I’d go for Ralph Milne (I count being Scottish as foreign). On some days he was a good player but on others he looked like he’d come straight from the pub. For some reason Man Utd bought him and he's often mentioned as their worst ever player. For a best player in the “Running around like a headless chicken” category I’d go for Marvin Elliot on one of his bad days.
TBW
Being quite young Basso and Albert Adomah isn't a foreigner despite playing for Ghana.
ralphindevon
Jan Moller, Gert Meijer and Jacki. Jacki may not have been consistent but the things he could do with the ball, and did at least once or twice in every game, are what you call entertainment. That for me is what it's all about. Lita For Congo
Basso, Ago, Andersen and Sebok were all decent. Ivan was a beast! Jim Brennan was class for us and got us a good transfer fee. Im too young to of seen Jacki so i havent included him. Yu could even throw in Goater aswell. We have a few decent foreigners!
ralphindevon
So many of peoples votes, including mine, are players who had such short careers with City, such a shame.

Cunnyfunt
Agostino, Goater and Brennan. Just about remember Jaki. Anyone remember Vegard Hansson? He wasn't a bad full back. The worst Saborio, Styvar and Atteveld.

glynriley
Can't really remember if he was any good or not , but Pertti Jantunen is a player I can always remember from my youth.

fka dagest
Jacki or Basso for me, honourable mentions for Tistimetanu, Soren Anderson and Vegard Hansen (for a bit). Someone who was great, although only on loan for a month or so, was Bjorn Kristensen.
Drew Peacock
Alec Eisentrager. Actually I'm not that old, so I never saw him play. Thought I'd put him in for our older supporters as he comes with a great reputation; probably the best foreigner I haven't seen. Geert Meijer for me, or the Goat. Taylor10
Unfortunately I never saw Jacki live as my first season of watching season was 1994. Goater, Tistimetanu, Soren Andersen and Akinbiyi spring to mind for me. Absolutely loved the Goat and Akinbiyi when I was a nipper!

Fiale
Jacki here as well - he could be a lazy sod at times, but his ball control and passing were class........
steveybadger
If footall is about entertainment then the moments of Jacki briliance stay with me the longest. 2 goals v Wolves in about 92 / 93 when we were in the do do spring to mind, first one outside the box. Never saw Moller of Meijer so can't comment. That said I was in Krakow a few years ago talking to some Wisla fans, and when I mentioned Jacki the look of pity they gave me was terrible!
