Freedom of speech. It's OK to have formed an opinion but that's the problem most people don't they just repeat the diatribe of the EDL thinking that's their opinion. I'm all for freedom of speech, but taking what you hear at face value and believing that Muslims are inherently evil and seek the demise of Western culture is not having an opinion, that's just being (at best) plain stupid.
