Jordan Tansley
Are they even in for him? There's been a lot of paper talk but they seem only to be in for Herrera. After Sunday if I were Moyes I'd want both of them plus Fellaini... Sky understands they've just rejoined the race and they've flown to odds on from 25-1 to get him. HoldenBall
Surprised Ozil's name keeps coming up for a transfer, not sure why Madrid would want to sell him, i think he's an excellent little player. he is, but there team is overcrowded with world class players someone would want to leave
Gazred
he is, but there team is overcrowded with world class players someone would want to leave Well they just moved out Kaka to AC Milan. Agreed they still have a hell of a lot of quality in that squad. Ozil, for me would start every week.

Well the BBC understands they're "definitely not in for Ozil" but are hopeful of signing Herrera and Fellaini! This would be absolutely disastrous. Pretty much No Strikers.. First time in a long time. SOD better be hot on his heels today preparing for this. Sprint to the 50 mark point and consolidate if Sammy goes!
glynriley
We can't afford to lose him. Would be a disaster. It would be, but if he turns round and asks to leave, what do we do? Keep a player who wants to leave or sell him and hope to pick up a decent loan signing when the window opens? Conundrum.

sunningdalered
Without a legitimate and meaningful replacement we wont sell SB ....... will we Well, SO'D clearly wouldn't want SB to go, but he's making all the 'wants to play at a higher level' type comments, so a definite possibility. BRISTOL86
It would be, but if he turns round and asks to leave, what do we do? Keep a player who wants to leave or sell him and hope to pick up a decent loan signing when the window opens? Conundrum. Unless the offer is ridiculous we simply must keep Baldock, no question. We only have one good striker as it is, having none is not an option! Pool already have Chopra and Davies so Baldock would arguably be third choice. Hopefully guaranteed first team football and the armband will tempt him to stay. Seems a level headed bloke and can't see Blackpool paying him stupid money. glynriley
Unless the offer is ridiculous we simply must keep Baldock, no question. We only have one good striker as it is, having none is not an option! Easy to say, but if Blackpool tell his agent they are prepared to double his wages?? He could have his head turned and fancy a move, or we could say no and keep an unhappy player. I hope he stays and he stays because he wants to, but when we're £40M in debt we're not in a position to refuse sensible offers, unfortunately. Randy Marsh
We won't sell. Also don't think he'd want to leave, he looks to be taking the captaincy very seriously and I think he enjoys the responsibility. I'm not worried.
Kezman
Blackpol got any strikers for a swap.........?! Nathan Eccleston/Bobby Grant. But they only recently signed Grant. Blackpool have got so many attackers, why they would want Baldock I don't know. They got Fuller/ Davies / Delfouneso / Chopra and the 2 mentioned above on their books already!
