Champion Dung Spreader
Didn't the Daily Mail headline with "Hurrah for the black shirts" in the 1930s? They're clearly experienced in publicising fascists.

Aizoon
I'm surprised they aren't asking why he's still in the UK. For the Mail, Di Canio is the RIGHT kind of immigrant.
sglosbcfc
I think it is fair to say that the Mail have form when it comes to backing fascists and the far right.
RiverRed
Even more disturbing is the fact that, according to the Mail report, our winless run ended yesterday. How time flies eh? I know the clocks go back later, but usually just an hour, not a day.

Spike
If Di Canio took over this club I honestly think I'd boycott anything and everything to do with it until he was gone. I hate the man.

Pickle Rick
He's not good enough to manage - even in this division. I'll challenge anyone who thinks otherwise.
BS34Red
Why would we want to swap one complete pratt for another?Had we just won 20 odd games in a row you wouldn't be calling SOD a prat. No need for personal attacks just cos we lost a few football games.
PrideOfTheWest
He's not good enough to manage - even in this division. I'll challenge anyone who thinks otherwise. Well, Swindon went top of League One the day after he left them, so I'm sure he'd say he is good enough for this division. I can't see his next job being in English football, though. LondonBristolian
Well, Swindon went top of League One the day after he left them, so I'm sure he'd say he is good enough for this division. I can't see his next job being in English football, though. Swindon were spending way beyond their means to do that, mind. (Obviously so are we but Swindon had the sense to spend it on decent players). Unquestionably Di Canio did a good job in favourable conditions with money to spend and a feelgood factor around the club but don't believe for a second that he'd do a good job for us. Chappers
JL can hardly admit to taping up PDC whilst we still have a manager. Would be an interesting appointment to say the least, and won't pre-judge or hold any alleged political views against him.
spudski
This is such bollox. Half our team wouldn't get a look in with Di Canio in charge. Jet wouldn't even make the bench. He loves fit grafters... Most pro footballers would dread him being appointed, as he makes any squad work twice as hard on fitness than most clubs.
