Red-Robbo
The Forest fans just confirm what my Burnley supporting nephew said. He said if we go 1 nil up we will just sit in and bang the ball up into the channels and try and hang on to the 1-0 lead. Sounds like Johnson! Admin phantom Posted December 3, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted December 3, 2013 But do we know this for sure, or is this just a theory? It is "out there" in the cyber world somewhere, I'm sure someone can post the link

Cowshed
Its an interesting read as it does highlight Mr Cotterills principles regarding how football is played. There is a specific style of football being slated. It makes no sense to have an extensive network of coaches and an academy if the XI is to play a form of POMO. Just send kids down the gym instead. We have had similar before at Ashton Gate in Osman and Pulis. Both hardly are looked upon fondly.
RedM
That was a funny read. It would be if the bloke they were all slamming wasn't taking over our club
Portland Bill
Sounds like Johnson! In his 3rd season? Yeah, but before that he did get us playing some good stuff. Hopefully Cotterill has changed,oh how I hope!

djb6162
Not read it but can guess the content. As Forest fans told us we were getting a good 'un in SOD, perhaps their views are not that accurate? I guess i want to agree with you, but OMG read it Glyn its not good and they all cant be that wrong !!!!

I think Johnson was always content to defend a 1 goal win, it was just in his first seasons we were rock hard defensively and got a number of 1-0 wins! Northern Red
My personal favorite; "He is the epitome of a anti-football, thick and looks like a darts player. What a ****." I liked this one: "The mere thought of him as our manager makes my blood boil.... ...He reminds me of Boris Johnson - a rambling buffoon with delusions of grandeur, only Steve was less intelligent and less likable... ... and I think Boris is a ****. Roger Red Hat
I'm even more depressed now I believe the club shop is launching a range of razor blades, sporting the club crest. Available at the next home game.
Daniro
"I have never been more infuriated or totally disillusioned with Forest at any point during my life as much as I was when that pub team manager was leading us." Squire Dastardly
It would seem that Cotterill and Lansdown are the perfect fit. The ying and the yang, the male & the female parts. This would probably be better expressed in Anglo-Saxon but the mod wouldn't like it.
Fiale
Not all bad then...... In a no goals in seven match run.. Perfect
Murraysrightplum
As most expected. Unintelligent hoofball. Probably will satisfy those that like the "ere get stuck in mind" approach to football
finbarr_in_z
really hope this isn't the Pulis era all over again. Possibly. Made I laugh (nervously) from the Forest forum:- "As for style? You need to have a word with local air traffic control so they can put an exclusion zone around your ground so no planes get hit by footballs." hippy273
So basically all we have to do is hire SOD back AFTER Cotterill makes the same mistakes with us on the pitch. This will surely be the fix we are looking for
RedM
People listening to football fans again, not football coaches or experts I know what I like, and I know what I don't like. Unless he has a massive change in his style his team play the kind of football that I don't care to watch. It might be successful for some teams, and granted at times this season it hasn't been pretty, but just as we looked to get the ball down and play it's now going to get whooshed even more. No happy. lugger
If you take the worry factor out of this, that does make for very funny reading. I've always thought Forest fans made us look like a cheery bunch so let's not worry too much about it.
petehinton
Oh god, i always wondered who the **** was the banished Majewski (IMO the best playmaker outside the Prem) from Forest. It was Cotterill. Goodbye JET and thanks for the good times
