I bring you Bristol City's own Academy. Millions poured in to coaching/facilities for what output? The Gas meanwhile, who probably ask their players for subs, beat our well coached elite 9-1. Ended up looking for cheap fishing gear on the laptop with the sound on in the background. I stayed on my search even when the penalty was given. My sons development team beat both Rovers and City but lost v Forest Green. It is about "development" at that level. I would like to see City's pathway being extended to schools and junior clubs, but linked to a skills syllabus to increase local kids core skills. The Spanish do this nationally and it increases the talent pool for their academies and feeder teams. England have never done similar. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
