fabio
For a bit of fun and as we are still top I thought we could do our predictions for the 3 biggest games of the season coming up If we are still unbeaten after these then surely we will be well set to continue to Christmas with Crawley crew and Yeovil up after that. My predictions are as follows Swindon - city win Preston - draw Pbourgh - city win on sky scoring a few
Red Exile
Swindon - draw - never seen us play well there Preston - win - raising our gamePbourgh - draw - they'll raise their game

fabio
Would anyone take 3 draws if it was offered now? I would and I wouldn't only because although the best teams 5 draws out of six is not good enough for top of the league. Or is that harsh??? Malago
These 3 games aren't that make or break. To win automatic promotion 85 points is normally enough. That means that we need about 49 points from 30 games; 14 wins, 7 draws and 9 defeats should see across the line. We could lose all three of these games and still comfortably be promoted. brad blit
I would happily take 1 win and 2 draws now to stay undefeated, but have a funny feeling it will be 1 win (posh), 1 draw (Swindon) and 1 loss (Preston)
Pickle Rick
3 wins bruv - no diggity, no doubt.
fabio
3 wins bruv - no diggity, no doubt. Would be mint I really want us to smash one of them and obviously would be nice if posh as on tele but also as nice if Swindon or Preston
old_eastender
I'd take 5 pts from the next 9 as a good return, reckon we could do it to - Win at Swindon, Draws against Preston & Posh - which btw would mean we would have beaten the all-time unbeaten run of 1905-6 stretching to 25 games

Aizoon
Can you honestly see us being beat NINE times????? I've seen us beat at least NINETY times The point about three draws is that we're playing our main competitors. A defeat for us is a gain for them. In those circumstances a draw isn't a bad result. Fair enough  I don't think we will draw all 3 though but we will see as long as were still top that's what matters.

Just saying, like...

Robbored
Swindon has score draw written all over it. Preston has a narrow win City win written all over it to. Posh has a comfortable City away win written all over as well. Don't know what some forum users are worried about....

bissellredhead
Would anyone take 3 draws if it was offered now? Would prefer a win, a draw & a loss - promotion is the aim not seeing how long we can go unbeaten for (however nice it is) so the more points we get the better (obviously) 3 wins it is then
spudski
Yesterday was a big game imho. We haven't been playing particularly well recently but getting points. Pre game, everyone I was with agreed that we thought City would lose to Oldham...we seemed to be going slightly backwards. How much did that team prove us wrong with yesterdays performance. They dug in...as if they knew they hadn't been playing to the best of there ability. I'm going for 2 draws and a win.

This group of players have so far overcome every challenge put before them...and I predict they will continue to do so... Remain unbeaten in the league after all 3.... Sparkz 76
not to loose any of these three games I will be amazed. Think Swindon away will be the toughest game. It's nice being unbeaten but half the people on this forum live in a fantasy world. We will get couple of results but I feel we will loose one of the three
Kingswoodactor
Why would some people be happy with a point at home to Preston? Rochdale just smashed them 3-0 so we should be looking to do the same.
