CotswoldRed
Worst outcome of the sending off is we lose Elliott for 3 games invluding PNE and Posh. idtheyve seen what Swindon acheived with a bit of intimidation then you can bet we will get mire of the same from Fergie's boys at London Road Unless we win the appeal. Why their chap can't be punished for playacting like a child is beyond me.

Aizoon
Confident of the appeal then? Of course he bloody isn't. This is the FA Still, at least he'll get a better hearing than he has on OTIB!
HoldenBall
Only at the game. Are you saying youve seen something clear and conclusive? No, I never saw the incident at the game so you have seen more than me. Lets hope it's rescinded if it's true what everyone is saying
formerly known as ivan
Only at the game. Are you saying youve seen something clear and conclusive? Surely if there is no clear and conclusive evidence they will have to go with the refs decision which will mean a 3 game ban. From the clip shown on sky sports its clear and conclusive that Elliott raised his arm behind him into the direction of the Swindon player. How much contact was made at that point becomes irrelevant

Hence I asked him if he'd seen footage. If it was as clear as day we've every reason to be confident.
Rich-TWSC-
Interestingly the BBC online Sport editor Andrew Cryer has just tweeted, "seen the red card decision and it is a disgrace, free kick the other way...." Andy Cryer used to work for the Swindon Advertiser before moving up to Blackbun to cover them. Q: Guess who he supports? A: Bristol City.

Yeah, of course the Bristol City camp will say it's the worst decision in footballing history, funnily enough I haven't seen anyone outside our club say it wasn't a red.. can't wait to see the incident

How that's trolling I'll never know. But you got your dig in. 10am is a reasonable hour. Reading through STFC and BCFC forums while having some breakfast. The internet is such a distraction. I haven't seen the highlights yet and I dare say that if it's as cut and dry as you guys say then I'll agree with you. I think you're a good poster and a level-headed guy, but as you'll have read it was a highly contentious match with lots of things to rile us City fans. P'raps just best you browse "in silence" for a day or so, so you aren't tarred with the brush of simpletons like Bilko etc... Just a suggestion you understand. Londoner
Id be suprised if wade is stupid enough to crack someone 1 minute into a match. Saying that you can't rule it out.
Slack Bladder
Yesterday evening whilst shopping in Asda, a little old lady accidently bumped into me with her zimmer frame. I immediately threw myself to the aisle floor and rolled around clutching my face. This continued for a good 30 seconds until a burly security guard turned up and escorted the old lady from the premises. I then jumped up and carried on with my shopping feeling immensely proud of myself. Life is good.

No, ASDA aren't releasing it despite my pleas to do so, thus I've just had to accept my mum's word that she was the victim of a playacting fellow shopper. HoldenBall
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGRKC_PaT3M That's an awful decision.. Elliot should of gone down after being whacked twice in succession..
CotswoldRed
Can't see enough though it looks like Elliott stopped in his tracks. No evidence of aggression. Unfortunately not enough there to overrule the ref. Appeal will fail imo.
Red-Robbo
The card and the goal Although it's just off camera, you can see Wade being pulled backwards, although not any impact. Does anyone run backwards to headbutt someone with the back of their head? I have to agree with Cotterill that it's clearly a wrong decision. Welcome To The Jungle
Just as it goes off Camera wade definitely lunges backwards with his head. Wade even bends his knees slightly to do so. IMO as silly red but correct.

IMO as silly red but correct. If you are running forward and are then suddenly yanked back you would bend your knees and your head would angle backwards. You can see the guy's hands on Wade pulling him.
