Guest
You didn't witness the "tactics" employed by him in the pray-off season? How many 1-0 wins was it? 5 Ps we've already managed 4 this season...
EstoniaTallinnRed
Today will be my first game this season and I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation. Meeting up with mates for a pint or two and then sit in block B to watch the game. I'm expecting Yeovil to arrive by coach and then park it across the City goal in the hope that they can nick a goal on the break and then hang on....... Enjoy it today Robbored, I hope you are now much better and well on the mend. Wish I could br there, I predict a 2 - 1 win for City and an end to end game. Major Isewater
Er...GJ may not be a tactical genius, but I'm pretty sure he's never set his team up to park the bus in front of the opposition's goal, has he?? The festivities take another hostage .It's carnage out there !
eric04
Tight game this one. Yeovil aren't too bad on the road and GJ will have them fired up for this as will Joe Edwards. If we don't get an early goal I can see it being a gritty 1-0 game.
samo II
Lose or draw and we could find ourselves 4th at the close of play.. Win and other results go our way and we're top and clear by 5 points.. I'll take a 2-1 win and top by one point. Hope SC says similar to the players before today's game. The other top 4 teams don't have 'easy' games, but have the incentive of toppling us before the New Year, so I hope our players take the bull by the horns and maintain our place at the top of the pile. Things go badly the last two matches and someone else could step ahead of us, going into 2015, while if we take this match and Gillingham by the scruff of the neck, then we could have re-established our mini-cushion, or opened a gap to third first thing in the new year. Who Are Rovers?
Cunningham left side of the back 3. Bryan slots in at wing-back, and Kane plays CM as he did against Telford. Wilbs misses out for some reason, and Matt Smith up front. 6 subs :/
cityexile
Cunningham instead of Williams?? Williams suspended after sending off. Bryan back is good, Elliot still out less so. Kane not Pack? Been far from impressed by Smith so far, so lets hope today is his day. Far from our first 11.
cityexile
Yep - Richards, Osbourne, Wynter, Pack, Wagstaff, JET With Wilbs looking like he is totally out today, just shows how few options we have upfront. Nothing there, other than you know who.
