bcfcshorey Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Is it me or are they not showing up? Can't find where to buy them at all!
Davefevs Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Cmon, you didn't expect it to work dead on 10am did you.
bcfcshorey Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 I was hoping! I'm making myself late for work!
bcfcshorey Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 I still can't find it?! Nothing showing up under home tickets
Guest JeffUsher Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Nothing showing up for me either and the "online" link to purchase goes to a link that does not exist !!!
cider-manc Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Nothing showing up for me either and the "online" link to purchase goes to a link that does not exist !!! Got this too. Also when I try and phone I get a message telling me the inbox is full.... If I go directly to Bristol Sport website nothing shows up when I sign in.
bcfcshorey Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 http://tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk/categories/bristolcityfchome I'm guessing this is the right page?

Ryan_BCFC Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 http://tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk/categories/bristolcityfchome I'm guessing this is the right page? Yes
Guest JeffUsher Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Only Sheffield Wednesday v Bristol City showing for me on that page ..... Ah well ......
Ryan_BCFC Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Will miss out if they don't show within the next 10 minutes, thanks Bristol Sport.
Admin Chris Posted August 3, 2015 Admin Posted August 3, 2015 I've got Brentford showing in my account now, but not Leeds which I want the tickets for!
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 They're available now. Only 300 left in south stand already though.
Ryan_BCFC Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 BOOKED!!!!!!!!! Got 3 in the Dolman. Block E33 for Brentford game :-D
SnozRobin Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Can anyone see the add option for Leeds tickets?
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 It takes the membership discount off at checkout.
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 This is where the add button should take you for leeds: http://tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk/en-GB/events/bristol%20city%20v%20leeds%20united/2015-8-19_19.45/ashton%20gate%20stadium?hallmap
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Still not quite right, says tickets not available for sale.
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 How did you get leeds tickets?! Did that link work? Still getting "This event is no longer available for sale."
Admin Chris Posted August 3, 2015 Admin Posted August 3, 2015 Ok, so I can add the tickets for me & my son's linked account. But I can't pay for them as he doesn't have any purchase history. Nice one BCFC. Anyone have any idea who I can contact without spending hours on the phone?
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Ok, so I can add the tickets for me & my son's linked account. But I can't pay for them as he doesn't have any purchase history. Nice one BCFC. Anyone have any idea who I can contact without spending hours on the phone? That's a good point! I want to get a ticket for me and my eldest but he doesn't have any purchase history because he's 10!
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Number of tickets left in South Stand for Leeds is going down but i can't buy any! Someone is getting in and purchasing somewhere. What a mess!
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I guess add button not appearing because of purchase history? Been a lot more than twice in the past two seasons that's for sure! A bug in the system I presume. Not happy!
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I can't get tickets for either... Can anyone else? Can still see tickets for Brentford match. I'm not convinced the system is working as expected!
DaveF Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I can't see anything for the Brentford match, can see Leeds but there is no option to buy...
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I can't see anything for the Brentford match, can see Leeds but there is no option to buy... Which browser? In Safari I only get Leeds but in Chrome I see both. Try a different browser?
DaveF Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Which browser? In Safari I only get Leeds but in Chrome I see both. Try a different browser? I'm using Chrome, I don't have access to any others because I'm at work.
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm using Chrome, I don't have access to any others because I'm at work. Ah bugger, seems ok for me in Chrome, sorry i'd just seen that in Safari so thought it might be that. I think it's safe to say not been a successful launch of the new ticketing system! Try this link for Brentford match: http://tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk/en-GB/events/bristol%20city%20v%20brentford/2015-8-15_15.00/ashton%20gate%20stadium?hallmap
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I don't get how this purchase history bit is going to work for matches? I have a massive long list of purchase history but all against my name, even though all of the matches I've purchased more than 1 ticket, so those people don't have a purchase history but have actually been to loads of matches!
Guest JeffUsher Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Found the link here:- http://tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk/en-GB/events/bristol%20city%20v%20leeds%20united/2015-8-19_19.45/ashton%20gate%20stadium However selecting any tickets states event no longer on sale and almost sold out already. Jeff

But now it's saying event no longer available when I click on any seat! Nightmare...
AlwaysRed Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Thanks for your help, that linked worked. But now it's saying event no longer available when I click on any seat! Nightmare... Yep i'm getting that with the Leeds match. Seems the system has completely fallen apart! I just hope behind the scenes they're trying to fix it rather than just sitting there oblivious of any issues! Been refreshing pages for an hour now in hope of getting tickets.
Guest JeffUsher Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 And then there's still the issue of father / daughter / sons not being able to go together as the child would have no purchase history even though they are both Forever Bristol members. Not very family friendly at all. Nightmare ..... Jeff
Keith Welch Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I think I may just give up and ask for a refund on my Forever Bristol membership.
Bristol Rob Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 There is a supports services email address that has previously been quick to reply. I'm sure someone will be able to share it.
RedRock Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 That was an intensely painful and stressful experience! I think I may have a Leeds ticket (0r 10 Leeds tickets - see below) somewhere in the South Stand! At every turn there was a blockage ... had no idea what was going on most of the time! Anyhow a simple guide; press on a block, some little oblong appears (or not) in a random, mostly corner, part of the screen with the number of seats available, press on that and it may (or more likely not) take you to a seating plan, then press on a vacant seat and it may respond... Then go to the payment system that depends on pressing sausage shaped coloured 'things' (I hesitate to call them buttons) which appear to be totally random as to what they do and seemingly, the same coloured things on different pages, do opposite functions. Attempt payment , fail and repeat 10x and with luck you may get confirmation. It could only be Bristol City. Anyhow that's an hour of my life I won't get back!
Keith Welch Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 The club needs a goalkeeper, a centre back, a midfielder and a new I.T team. How can they get a simple ticketing service so wrong?
Big C Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Lets face it, its not only Bristol City is it? Any event which has a high demand for tickets will have similar problems getting through online

At least you got a ticket, no such luck here
Aizoon Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 And that, children, is why I bought a season ticket. Now let's see the cock-up on the 15th
ralphindevon Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 My understanding was the ticket will be uploaded on to your membership card, get to checkout and it asks do you want t print it or pay a quid postage. Does anyone know when it will be automated?......a rough guess at a year will do.
RedRock Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Lets face it, its not only Bristol City is it? Any event which has a high demand for tickets will have similar problems getting through online I think they've sold around 1,000 to 1,500 Forever Bristol Memberships. Doubt whether more than a couple of hundred were trying to buy tickets this morning. Jesz, if the system can't cope with that level of pressure I hate to think what will happen when we get a big event. Frustrating to say the least... maybe the system just isn't iPad compatible... which would be most bizarre

Aizoon Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm on desktop not working. So it's multi-incompatible?
Bristol Rob Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 No tickets left for Leeds then, great!! No sign that this game is sold out.
Lrrr Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Won't let me login to buy tickets, so go to forgotten password to change it just because, email not found. Thought it had to be because I always bought through City's website and its this Bristol Sport website. Go to register, details found under this information.
BobBobSuperBob Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Sorry but this club is a complete joke off the pitch - never seen a bigger mess in nearly 50 yrs Memberships / history not transferred and you have more chance of calling Obhama than Bristol Sport - 57 phone attempts this morning and whichever path you follow ended up with mailbox 6001 full you are being redirected, to be cut off 3 secs later We arnt even Toolstation League off the pitch and we wonder why we lose supporters I went over to the SWALEC for the ashes taking my disabled father and had reason to ring them several times in the 2-3 days proceeding - good phone system - always answered quickly with very helpful staff What a diffference
cider-manc Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Try clicking on the block. Then clicking best available, add the amount of seats you want then click best available again-that seems to bringing up tickets for me (Click on basket on top right)
Red Necromancer Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 My understanding was the ticket will be uploaded on to your membership card, get to checkout and it asks do you want t print it or pay a quid postage. Does anyone know when it will be automated?......a rough guess at a year will do. I think they said this wouldn't be available for the first few games.
Guest Tziorta Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 If there are any members that are unable to attend the Leeds match and have a purchase history, please get in touch with me. I am looking to buy a couple of tickets alongside my membership ticket for a couple of friends.............otherwise it looks like i'll be lone wolfing it
Louis Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 This is very frustrating to say the least. Upon selecting my seats I get the message "This event is no longer available for sale." despite there apparently being a couple of hundred left. It seems a game of luck wether or not you get a ticket. Impossible to phone through too. Poor customer service and ticketing service.
B-Rizzle Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm not one to regularly criticise the club but there seems to be balls up after balls up when it comes to ticketing. The system doesn't work very well. As for the Leeds rule, that hasn't really been thought through has it? I'm a recent ST holder of 13 straight years (but not for the last two seasons) and have attended more than 2 games in the last two years. For some reason, this doesn't show up in my purchase history and the reality is that isn't going to get fixed before the limited number of tickets all get sold. Seeing as the Leeds rule is not about loyalty but about preventing Leeds fans buying tickets in home sections, surely 13 years as a ST holder is enough evidence to the club that I'm not a closest Leeds fan?! This isn't bloody Cold War espionage!
Louis Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 They need a more simplistic approach when it comes to buying tickets. The website is all over the place with different links, buttons, messages. Buying tickets should be a straightfoward process, especially for members...
