simon uk Posted August 11, 2015 Report Share Posted August 11, 2015 Correct me if I'm wrong folks, but in this day of agents, we must have had some form of contact with gayles agent to get some idea of his opinion of a move before spending weeks negotiating with palace about a transfer fee? For cotts to confirm the bid is big news, some form of initial discussion with the player must have taken place at some point, this isnt the 1950s anymore where things are done on a handshake, well hopefully not anyway!
