The only slight fly in the ointment is that I believe the South Stand is running at reduced capacity next week due to cranes restricting views? It will look rubbish if there are gaps!

Even if it was just the 3 central blocks, it would have a positive effect.

I never intended to provoke any flaming on here. What I'm saying is basically that I'm not scared or as much as even bothered. Neither should you.

Beautiful colours on that French flag though.

Olympian, are you a Swedish Bristol City fan?

I live in Helsingborg and I can't honestly call myself City. I don't claim to speak for anybody but myself, but as myself I stand by my words.

:) If you like to get in touch send me a personal message on here. You can find the Scandinavian Branch on:

If this goes ahead, we need to let the Hull fans know what we`re doing. I`m not sure how many will be there though with it on TV. Good one to miss with the KO time and the distance if you were a Tiger.

Agree, if it can be made "official" by the club early doors it can easily be communicated to Hull too.

Here is the email I just sent to David Lloyd. I hope I've represented the broad view.

Hi Dave,

Following yesterday's atrocities in Paris, there has been a lengthy discussion on the OTIB forum about how as a club we might be able to show our support for the French people - not least of all Jonathan Kodjia - in front of the Sky cameras next Saturday.

The most popular suggestion has been a display of the French "tricolour" flag across one, or perhaps even all three stands, by using a coloured A4 placard on each seat. This would compliment the minute's silence prior to the game, which I understand is already planned. There appears to be strong support for this idea among fans on the forum.

Is this something the club would be willing to arrange?

Kind Regards
