If anyone actually believed that, they were very deluded.

Its all been very predictable - Iceland score from a long throw, and Harte makes a major mistake.

Nothing surprising there.

What has surprised me is that Iceland are the better team at the moment.

Its been clueless and embarrassing from England - a naive rabble.

Slow and predictable build up, rank bad defending, Sterling doing what he does - running into blind alleys, Kane taking free kicks with the usual result, Rooney just lumping corners into the box - take 'em short and move the opposition out. Its so ****** basic, what has the manager been doing all week ? Walking pace and totally aimless.

Awful, ****** awful, and we deserve to be losing - to ****** Iceland.

That's the thing. It's what we were told would be the case. The likes of Shaw, Barkley, sterling having tournament experience in 2014 would put them in good stead for this tournament. ....... yeah OK.....

The rest I agree 100%

Never mind, Wilshire on now. Is Roy secretly Icelandic?

It's all about picking players in form. A guy who has hardly played for two years is well rested! Makes a mockery of picking players who've had a good season

Yet he's already done more since coming on than a few of our players did in the first half.

on the other hand we have a goalkeeper who makes a minimum of 1 bad mistake per game, yet is deemed undroppable
