Is the club aware that villa fans are buying south stand tickets. As this is not an ideal situation and requires sorting out in sales and in the ground

The problem like someone posted earlier is that some of them have BS postcodes albeit no purchasing history. Thats the conundrum for the club they want new fans so have to trust their honesty. If they are dishonest then they should be refused entry if rocking up in Villa shirts or taken out when it becomes clear they are not there supporting the home side. If they sit quietly then who really cares but I couldn't personally get any joy out of that.

If the Atyeo was for Away fans only , we would surely have POTD available. Probably not an option Saturday due to risk of  Villa fans buying into the home section..

Serious loss of revenue again when we could have sold all,4500 tickets to the Villains and had POTD as an option for last minute attendees.

Why oh ,why do we release tickets in batches- so confusing for fans - Upper West stand and all Lower tickets should have been on sale for this big match  from the Newcastle game. Everybody knew it would be over 20,000.  , surely SAG are no longer involved ?

Aston Villa "sold out"

WIth just a few hundred tickets sold in the top tier W7 and W8..

Odd.

This is what happens when the tickets are released in batches. Around 5PM yesterday there were about 25 tickets left - these clearly sold out over the evening but as it wasn't office hours there was no one available to release more. I fully expect another batch to be released today.

The problem for the club is people may have gone online last night, seen its sold out, and then not bother looking again today.

Not really a club decision though if the authorities have insisted on a reduced number. Perhaps there were some minor issues identified at the Newcastle game which need to be resolved before we can have those levels again?

What issues could there have possibly been?

Just seems to me like the club are throwing money away. There are 5000 empty seats, people want tickets and they cant buy them. Not to mention our own fans like the chap above are left without tickets whilst plenty of Villa fans seem to have got them in the home end.

So you're suggesting the authorities haven't imposed a limit and the club have opted to?

Maybe they've felt that its not economical to open another block for sales? If it is a health and safety issue then that's a poor show by the club as well. They've had three games to get things right.
