Australia aren’t rushing to bowl there overs due to expected rain, so if teams were penalised then it might make them bowl more quickly. Maybe if lights good make them bowl as many as possible in the day instead of stopping at 6.30. England weren’t much better 83 overs in the day using the extra half hour. Supporters aren’t getting what they paid for, and the players aren’t working as hard for spreading the overs out over a longer period.
