Northern Red
Be interesting to see how Brownhill goes in the middle, suspect the plan is to get in and around Reading's midfield and disrupt them, and he's probably better equipped to do that than Pack. Quote Link to comment
Up The City!
Did LJ accidently hand in his Stoke starting line up? Quote Link to comment
EmersonsRed
More than worried about today now. Quote Link to comment
GrahamC
Pisano out injured so Vyner makes sense, Wright travelled back a long way midweek so again quite logical re Flint, but very surprised that he has gone for O'Dowda. Seemed obvious for the last few games that he favours Smith over Pack but this strikes me as a game where we needed both, with Brownhill tucking in on the right. No Hegeler on the bench, too, I guess Pack is CM cover and Hörður CB cover, but thought he would feature there. Quote Link to comment

Looked amazing against Plymouth, but was not so sure about him against Watford. Guess we need to give these players games, and I expect Pisano must be injured. Hope he takes his opportunity. 6 minutes ago, BobBobSuperBob said: Pisano injured I guess ? 6 minutes ago, RedSA said: I assume Pisano is injured as he's not on the bench. Big loss for us, hopefully Zak can step up to the plate! 6 minutes ago, steviestevieneville said: Is pack injured ? He should partner brownhill if not. Pisano injured ? Knee injury. Guess that is a big influence. Maybe if Pisano fit, might've seen Eliasson or Leko unleashed. So fine with the thinking there. Flint for jet-lagged Wright, that's fine too. Not like Flint and Baker have never played together. Brownhill, more energy than Pack against a Reading 3??? Good luck. 1 Quote Link to comment

Think he may have gone for changes (accept Pisano injured) (Vyner / COD / JB centrally ) that will give us legs and energy as I think we'd be anticipating chasing off the ball / pressing a lot as Reading are totally about dominating possession 2 Quote Link to comment

Shtanley
Real shame there's no Pisano. Personally would've dropped Smith for Brownhill, be interesting to see how he does in central midfield. I'm feeling a Diedhiou bullet. 1 Quote Link to comment
ZiderEyed
Go head Zak! Interesting team, I'm feeling very positive, let's piss all over their plastic bonfire (bad for the environment ) Quote Link to comment
petehinton
Big chance for CO'D. If he plays anything like his sub appearances, he'll do sweet F A then get subbed off at 60 mins. Hope not. Quote Link to comment

BobBobSuperBob
Suspect that Reid will drop in and make a 5 without the ball to stop us being overloaded in midfield 1 Quote Link to comment
Fordy62
History dictates that we get 3 point when I dislike a starting eleven. Heres to 3 points! 2 Quote Link to comment

OldlandReddies
Has to be one of youngest City teams ever ?. Bold move by Lee going for energy/youth/fitness. Put his balls on the line. Hope they are big. Excited. COYR's. 1 Quote Link to comment

cityred exile
if Bailey Wright to tired to start why put him on the bench ? surely Hegeler should have had the nod who could also cover mid field as well as center back 2 Quote Link to comment

steviestevieneville
Just seen holdens pre match interview. Pisano injured in training yesterday , nothing serious though. Wright , travelling round the world , knackered , gives flint a chance. Didn't hear the reason for pack giving way for brownhill. Personally I'd of gone for pack and brownhill. I know marlon isn't that mobile but would deliver a better ball on the counter attack imo. Anyone with a different view ? Quote Link to comment
