The referee in the West Ham game wait till the hammers fans had completely finished the Bubbles song, before he blew for kick off . If not , then a strange co-incidence. This is another example of how top flight football is all about the Sky experience.

There's no "apparently" about it!

He left his wife and kids for her.

Middle aged man crisis. The "grass is greener" syndrome.

Same thing has happened to my sister. My brother in law has left her for another woman after 26 years.

You can just imagine a mr & mrs referee household though can't you, especially after he thinks he's scored and she disallows it.

I wonder if they’d have technology to answer, when she asks “is it in”..?

because all women always ask that, don’t they..?!

Apart from the Schalke game, Premiership games from Belgium and France were also being shown live last night. OK, in all three the teams had plenty of foreign players (presumably on high wages), but the grounds still appeared traditional. More importantly, the fans appeared "traditional" and generated more atmosphere than those at WHU did.

I don't ever remember being asked that question. Anyone else?
