Somerset have conceded 188 (chased it down, but chasing/batting not their problem) Allowed Kent to chase down over 160 in 16.3 overs Allowed Glos to chase down 115 with their dicks out. Simply cannot bowl You're over simplyfying a very complicated game - cricket. There are so many variables in any given game that the wrong call at the wrong time can and often does effect the result. Last night an 11 over game, a Mickey Mouse game in other words. What do you do if the win the toss? Bat or bowl? Bear in mind the outfield is damp and therefore slow.......bat second then?.......it'll be dryer and quicker when you bat...... Is the wicket taking spin? is it firm but bouncy? Is it dead?
