cityexile
We have done fantastically well, but do think the top three when they do hit top form have a higher gear than the rest of us do. All we can do is take each game as it comes. ”Jay Rodriguez's goal for West Brom means Aston Villa have conceded more home goals than any other side in the top four tiers of English league football this season.” That is quite remarkable really. Yes, but if in November, someone had said we will need to go 15 and unbeaten and win 7 games on the trot in order to get into the promotion stakes, so would that have been ! Agree. When I saw Sheff U and Norwich go 3 up in the first half I was thinking that we don't seem to have that type of performance/ability to dominate in us, as they do. These game are almost a bit of a breather for them between the tough games. Somehow we make all our games tough - even when they're not!

Lanterne Rouge
Norwich miss a penalty - they`ve now missed six out of the seven they`ve had this season. I bet they get one next Saturday and score the bugger.

downendcity
Little difference between Villa's spending and ours. Villa bring an £11m striker off the bench, while against QPR we bring on a £10m striker from the bench!
cityexile
Been far to upbeat on here recently. Been following the Villa forum match thread, feels much more like home... All moaning ‘Kodjia, all we have to bring on from the bench’. Poor souls.

If we finish 6th this season it will be a massive success - and still have a squeak of going up. See above. Whats the point of trying if you are going to give up so easy? I hope the players have a bit more belief than you do.
