Leeds Utd allocation and ticketing

Putting aside the potential for problems away from the ground, which basically is a case of the club can't control the uncontrollables.

1) Tangible Police presence and senior stewards in that corner between Dolman-Atyeo from minute one.

2) No getting noticeable (well the numbers differ, at least a couple of hundred) amounts of fans late in with the escort. That inflamed it further IMO.

Oh and a high level of alertness for and zero tolerance towards away fans found in home ends. Quite simply 'You get found as an away fan in the wrong end, you go out'.

Adhere to these and it should be pretty trouble free inside the ground.

Just having a look at the tickets sales for the Leeds game next month and they seem to be flying off the shelf.

If you get a minute @Matt Parsons BCFCSLO could you check how many have been sold in the home ends so far including STHs? Leeds' haven't announced details for it yet but they'll sale the 3,700 should the police allow that ( @JulieH?) so can add that figure immediately.

Good spot . I always look at e34 in dolman as an indicator . The tickets are always available for sale there  where as lansdown stand restricts sales / sections . There’s 109 left for Leeds( March game ) and over 300 in the same section  for a game tomorrow ..!

Safeguarding ? Fair enough but I wouldnt want to give Leeds any more then their entitlement

Safeguarding- that's the one.

Safeguarding or age issues notwithstanding, could give the 10% entitlement and then after segregation a thousand City fans in there- like the Manchester games. Could give us that little edge playing towards our fans at both ends- should have done it v Wolves last season!

My thoughts exactly. To be fair we won't sell as many tickets as we did for the Manc games, but having home fans at both ends rather than a wall of nearly 4,000 noisy Yorkies is surely an edge for us ?

Definitely. @Matt Parsons BCFCSLO Mark Ashton said last Monday about how valued your feedback was so it’s definitely one worth raising. If there are home tickets on sale in the Atyeo I’ll be transferring my season ticket into there.

Is there actually any rule against an away fan say  buying a ticket in the Lansdown? For example if they’re a Brummie living in Somerset?

Your ST is a membership for yourself, not anybody else.

Why should you be entitled to £5 off a ticket when you already have one?

It would be your friends choice if they wanted to buy a membership to get the benefits from a it

Alright girls - just a question. I thought it might be a perk as you are encouraging potentially new fans - guess not and I consider myself told ??

Would definitely give us an edge in those bigger games tbh. For certain games I don't see the point but v Leeds, WBA, Derby, Wolves and possibly Birmingham? Yeah- absolutely.

It's a good question that. I think yes, not least due to the issues it can and does cause. Don't have the exact rule to hand but if someone is in the wrong end, they're likely to be removed for a) Public order reasons and b) For their own safety! I suppose the 2 mesh don't they.

To encourage support the club already do this for selected games and you could have bought him a ticket for £10, but this isn’t one of the selected games!

Members tickets are only £15 for tonight’s game and the Birmingham game.

Yes, but Season Card holders aren't able to use this offer to buy additional tickets, which I think was the original issue!

So buy a membership? Of course now we’re doing well there is an interest in attending matches, on the cheap!

When we weren’t performing and ticket offers were available they, evidently, weren’t of interest!

Oh I completely agree, I was just pointing out that the original query wouldn't be solved by this offer. I have a season ticket so doesn't bother me either way...

I’m actually thinking of a neighbour of mine who is a Wolves fan. I don’t think there are any public order issues if the people involved are sensible. If you dress neutrally and keep your trap shut, you are not going to attract any trouble. Of course, if you wear a shirt, celebrate when you score and talk a lot in a distinctive accent, then you’re an idiot and shouldn’t try it.

But I don’t think away fans necessarily should or can be kept out, frankly.
