Even if we average 18-20 k per game and with the Kodja money we'll more than likely only just about break even. There are no clubs in the championship which are sustainable without either getting promoted or the owner putting his hand in his pocket big time. I am genuinely interested to see our financial figures over the next couple of seasons. I am interested in what savings come from the Bristol Sport umbrella covering the stadium costs, and the other revenue generated both on match days and the rest of the week. I think Bristol sport add 10 per cent to any dealings on behalf of Bcfc. That's how they make thier penny or two.

Popular Post WayOutWest
Two g*s heads walking down the Gloucester Rd one day. They come across a Chemist with a sign in the window. It says "Spend more than 30 quid and get a free Season Ticket for Bristol Rovers"!!! Well one of the lads jumped at the chance, and in he went. He goes up to the beautiful dispensary girl and asks for Hemorrhoid cream. He says every time he sneezes they hurt so bad he feels like he is going to break in two. That's 11 pounds she says. Ok, do you have anything for genital itching? Yes we have this cream, apply 3 times a day to the affected area. That's great, my under carriage is red raw and very uncomfortable he says. 12 pounds. Lastly I have this wart. Its right on my sack. It gets bigger by the week. OK she says, I have this Wart Freezer. I take it he says. How much. That's 14 pounds. After he pays he goes outside to his mate, who excitedly asked, did you get the season ticket!! Lad said nah I was too embarrassed to ask. BobbyC
Just seen this on the Bahdiff forum (Annis).......... Rovers is in the far nicer northern suburbs of Bristol too, the level of support in the city itself always seemed even to me. The red lot just draw support from areas south of Bristol to gain a few more.

They suffer from an inferiority complex that goes back to pre Roman days. Did you know that the Romans named that part of Britain as 'Wielsa' which is a derogatory term for a slave nation. The morons that inhabit that part of the world took it for their name hence 'Wales' was born. They will always be 'Wielsa' nothing more, nothing less. As for the sags... don't get me started... On the subject of cars - how about teiars for tyres, or Tacsi for Taxi. Gutteral, bastardised language that differs according to which region you are in. My particular favourites are dim parkio and dim cyclio. No parking and no cycling are the translations. Its a very easy language. We could also add to our vocabulary. Dim crowdio could describe Saturdays in North Bristol, or maybe Wally will learn some Welsh and admit Dim cashio.

Although they pronounce 'w' like the English 'oo' rather than like a 'uu', given it's name of 'double u' it kind of makes sense that it is used as a vowel. Oh, and microwave is meicrodon, not popty ping.
