Personally I had got used to, and enjoyed reading, the mountain of shit they would get on Social Media from fans of every club they encountered.

It was hilarious to see them furiously defending their bonehead manager after every ridiculous outburst, slagging off opponents, slagging off his players, the pitch, the ref, the ballboy.

The gift.

Yes, Pete, it was extremely satisfying to counter their tedious narcissism that we’ve had to swallow down the years (“Everybody loves the Gas!”) by reading and reposting comments from opposition fans about how enjoyable it was to stuff the twunt’s words back down his throat when EVERYONE’S CUP FINAL inevitably got marmalised.

In a week when Bobby Charlton, one of the genuinely good guys of the game, sadly passed away, it’s almost hard to get your head round just what a polar opposite personality this fool was / is.

Nathan Jones, John Eustace, Warnock to name 3 they are already talking about.

Get real, it's predictably going to be someone who got sacked from a L1/L2 club in the last year or so or an internal appointment.

Remember Barton said he was working for free, so this next appointment will cost them😂

How much is sacking him going to cost them?? Contracted until 2026, wasn't he? Maybe that's be the piggy bank they'd saved up for the JCH fee in January gone already?

He's unlikely to get a pay out that covers the full term of the contract. 12 months is as close as there is to a "standard" managerial pay out.
