Rocking Red Cyril
Okies just a thought. With weather as it is. What is likely hood of a postponed game. Buses possibly off damn pain my normal method of travel to AG.
Phileas Fogg
I don't think so. The storm should've passed by late afternoon, perhaps sooner. I notice First have cancelled their services until 4pm, but lots of those (ie the 376 Mendip Explorer) are large double decker buses that have to pass over the mendip hills with no wind cover. I would've thought by tomorrow it'll be absolutely fine for the inner city buses to run as normal.

Robbored
Storm Eunice will have passed through by tomorrow. I can’t imagine the Boro game will be postponed.
Big C
I think the only way it will be postponed is if there is some structural damage to the stadium

I think that would be the only thing that would put it in doubt. Boro would have been scheduled to come down today, likely by flying. There’s a fair chance they’ve had to travel by other means, but as long as their coach has made its way down today, I think we’ll be fine.

italian dave
Tomorrow's amber warning for Bristol has now been changed to Yellow - so looks like it's going to be a little quieter, is still windy. A lot more rain tomorrow though. Hell of a journey for Boro fans though.

Admin phantom Posted February 18, 2022 Admin Report Share Posted February 18, 2022 At the moment nobody knows, there's no point in confusing people with personal if, buts and maybe's lets just be senisble and wait to see what tomorrow morning brings

Boro fans would be pretty p*ssed off to get all the way down here to find out its off

RedM
Bournemouth v Forest is still on tonight. Forest fans left at 12.30pm. I would have thought there is more doubt over that match than ours.

RedM
Just saw it is off. Stadium damage. Forest fans not happy as Forest offered to play tomorrow and Bournemouth declined. Bournemouth have 7 injured and one suspended so Forest fans aren’t convinced it’s damage.

Yeah as much as I don’t want Forest to succeed that decision is very very dubious and I’d be seriously pissed if I was a Dorest fan. Surely the EFL can intervene?
