Loyal and Blue
Such awful news. All the very best wishes to Marcus and his family. Wouldn't it be great if Rovers and City could arrange a match together to raise funds for such a good cause with supporters standing shoulder to shoulder in our colours putting any rivalry to one side. Davefevs
Well, that’s just crap isn’t it. Top player, one of the best ever produced from Bristol. Thoughts with him.

Baba Yaga
Was randomly watching an interview with him a few weeks ago looking forward to the new season working on the coaching staff at Yeovil. He came across very down to earth, talked about what he is good at and not so good at from what I remember he mentioned his time at BCFC not going great but then he went to Yeovil and did well, probably getting legend status for his part in their 5-2 play off win against Forest. Very unfortunate his plans now may be limited/need to change due to this.

If you have witnessed this vile disease it really is heartbreaking. All thoughts and strengths to Marcus and his family I was just thinking the same, it's a few years ago now that a young footballer at our local aussie rules club was diagnosed, he passed away before reaching the age of 20yrs. It was so difficult to witness what his family & friends went through at the time. Our thoughts are with him & his family.

wendyredredrobin
So saddened by this awful news. The fear of progression and what lies ahead is almost as bad as the disease itself. My heartfelt best wishes go out to Marcus and his loved ones and I hope that he is able to benefit from anything that may help to slow it down. A City v Rovers benefit game sounds like a great idea. robinforlife2
Looks a good bunch of players there. Amazed that players still in the game with contracts would be allowed to effectively play in charity matches though. Would be interested in seeing if Matty Taylor lines up for the South West or the All Stars though
