No two ways about it. We keep playing like that and we will win miles more than we lose. All over that game from the first minute and lady lucky (and the officials) were against us.

We also shouldn’t forget that we’re without a whole back line that wouldn’t look out of place at the top end of the division.

There really is no need to panic here. We’re slowly turning into a really good team to watch, the results will come. Trust in Nige.

Bristol City 0 is the problem. We have lost our scoring touch. Our balls in are dreadful and dead balls we should just give them a goal effing kick.

The three at the back did well except for being under the ball for the cross.

I’ll settle later but we are the usual soft touch complaining about officials. News flash is they are pony every week, but if we can’t cross or score it’s bloody irrelevant!

Thing is, there’s no consistency to our performances and we could easily go to Middlesbrough and have another absolute shocker like Reading or Birmingham, rather than build on tonight.

Therefore, we really need to make our good performances count when they do come. I’m so so worried about us this season..  it’s so congested at the bottom and despite two good home performances, we have just a solitary point. We can’t afford to play badly in our next couple of games or we’ll find ourselves on the brink of the bottom three. The pressure is on.

Can’t disagree with any of what you have said to be fair. We played very well at times tonight and on another day we win the game with ease.

Certainly no panic yet from me although the table isn’t great reading tonight i must admitt. Teams below us are now picking up points, looking like its going to be an incredibly  tight relegation battle this year and we really don’t want to be involved in it!

Results will come…if we keep playing that like. Issue is, we don’t really. 2 wins from 11 is very concerning regardless of performances. The consistent horrific goals conceded is a real issue now and no longer a joke or blip.

Not worried yet, but I do think there’s cause for concern now. Those are two huge chances for much needed home wins missed.

The problem is, relatively dominant performances like that are rather uncommon for City, so to say “keep playing like that and we’ll win far more….” is a bit pointless tbh, because it’s a performance that shows up only a handful of times a season. That’s the reality.

Goals have dried up and confidence is starting to drain which is such a big part of it. Id love to be wrong but I think some are kidding themselves if they don’t think we could be amongst those scrambling for safety.

The World Cup break can’t come soon enough. We need players back and a reset mentally.

Mostly because of Scott. Need James on set pieces imo and stop the short corners.

New LWB on loan wouldnt hurt.

Don't mind Jay, but his end product so often let's us down. Sykes isn't much better, but he had the excuse of having an unsure Tanner behind him tonight.

Wells Conway Weimann Semenyo is more than enough bloody strikers in the squad

Nige needs to find some control and cuteness from the midfield / wing areas when we are chasing

Wing backs. Period.

Sykes is.inconsistent. Jay can't cross not shoot.

Just hope we aren't below the line by the time of the World Cup as that would be a right kick in the teeth

2 defeats v Boro and Watford would more than likely have us in that exact wrong place

Goals have dried up since Naismith injury. The other side of the World Cup and hopefully we’ll see our first choice back 3:

Naismith, Atkinson & Kalas.

Be honest though, you've had that opinion for each of the last 7 years since we got back into this league, haven't you?

Want to see City's identity? Energy, commitment, fast and fluid possession, it was all on display tonight. City's best home performance of the season, despite the result.

We just need to put those chances away.

Gutted, but proud.

I know what he brings in an attacking sense but Id like to think we’re not that reliant on one defender to dictate our entire attacking prowess! We need to be far more versatile than that and need to know how to score without him. Teams had started to target him before his injury.

Funnily enough I thought our back three, or four with Max, were pretty good tonight.
